  1. I posted this in my build thread some time back: http://forums.hybridz.org/showpost.php?p=971311&postcount=21 Also, can someone tell me how you put a name to a link.....I see it in peoples sig or in a thread...it will say click me or my build or something like that and it brings up a link.
  2. Tell me about it, I have a job for you once you are done! If my 70 turbo car goes half as fast I would be happy Anyway car is looking great and I know you will have her done for track in May
  3. Nope, not this time. I am having a bad two weeks
  4. Sorry I was late, email sent! Scottie, you gonna hook me up with 2JZ motor mounts? lol
  5. Nothing much, just getting Z stuff ready for winter. What is new with you? Car is coming along I see.
  6. Car looks great and sounds good too. You need to get the sneakers that woman is wearing to match your ride. You still getting a custom plate?
  7. I too did install one over the winter and installed a F.A.S.T. intake. Hope to have new numbers in the Spring and will post pics of the setup. Like David said, my oem pulley sat close to the steering rack.
  8. Next time I will record the 6 times you handed me the sh*tty bucket! And how you made me get in this tight @$$ place where the engines are to unscrew a screw with a plyers! Just so you can have a laugh....
  9. There is a guy here and on ctzcc.com - same guy who posted his swap. He has an LS2 in a 350z and is now going boost. You may want to contact him as far as the swap into the 350z.
  10. I know someone who got their car painted, and the shop charged $1000 to replace the driver side floor. I think the price was pushed up a little to make up on the total price to paint the car. It may be cheaper to have who ever is going to paint the car, do the floor work all at one time. I think time/material would be arounf $600 or so a side. Def more if the original seat rails are going to be used back. For now I would spend the $1500 towards getting parts for the lsx swap. Don't be in a rush to get "body work" done. Another thought would be you can get a welder and some striaght metal and do it yourself. Once you learn to weld, the welder will pay for itself over and over. Coil overs come to mind
  11. Well since I live pretty close to Joe (Rags), we hang out probably 3-5 days a week. He was nice enough to let me use his garage (yes the car is still there) for the summer.....and help put in many hours out in the garage. So whenever Joe needs a hand doing something, I am the man for the job.......but this? Person you hear in the background is Joe's dad. I am recording and the star of the film Mr. Ragno himself. We had to empty that vac about 6 times! Also from that day:
  12. Tony, I believe it to be 2400 square feet......only needs a lift or two, wait maybe three!
  13. I know this is out of the ordinary for most guys here but I thought I would share it with you anyway! Last week I went to Florida for a week or so and gave Jim, owner of all the cars below a call to stop by and check out his garage. If you are ever in the Tampa area or within driving distance I would say it is worth the trip. Jim is a stand up guy and knows his Z stuff. Enough of me, time for some pics: The man himself outside the garage: Bone dry 1/70 car waiting its turn: 1970 FairLady: HLS30-00058: Floors! HLS30-00016: Vintage Z and HLS30-00042 Very clean Z - Burt Diamond if anyone knows who he is Me with Burt's old flame: Thinking about making an offer, it needs to come back to NY: 69 car too but forgot the vin, I do like this one: Work bench: Walls: Left side of garage: I forgot to take pics of car #19 and his turbo roadstr. Had a great time and will make a trip down again soon....maybe next years x-mas party!
