    I was at Cars and Coffee at Plano BMW. Lots of very cool exotic cars. Anyway a local guy from www.dallasimports.net was there filming. Cops were at the exit so i had about 30% throttle to get the blow of valve to sound. I never heard it from in the car but the tires chirp! hahaha, Its funny because i was so NOT on the gas at all!!!! and the tires chirp I'm at 6:00 in http://www.youtube.com/user/turbo280z#p/a/f/0/RGpGVe-B05s

    i switched eveything. I might try putting my 15lb spring in and see if that holds with the BC unhooked. I really don't want to take it all apart again.

    yeah thats what I'm leaning on. I'm going to port the sharp turn out of the manifold some more going to the WG this weekend. If that don't do it I'm going to upgrade to a 44+ mm wastegate. If that wont do it, i'll look to something else. As of now I think its the WG

    Ouch! forklift! When I was at All Z junkyard in Ft. Worth getting some rear calipers he used a forklift to pick the car up so I could take them off, then I joked if he would pick my car up like that I could put them on my car easy!! ha ha ha, he said sure, no problem:mrgreen:

    yes i to wish i would of cut a hole in the manifold. I'm having major boost creep problems. I have another manifold and think I will cut the hole in it.

    Thats what I have, and here is a video of me putting it on: I ended up welding mine on, I could'nt get the bolts on the threads because the waste gate hole is in the way.

    I switched out my boost controller with Chris with no luck. It just does not make sense? With the top of the WG unhooked and plugged it hold the stock 9lbs to 6500, hook the top line back up, then with the boost controller off for the 9lb setting it creep from 9-15lbs by 6500 rpm? I got a diamond tooth porting tool from Chris and im taking the manifold back off to port the dog poop outta the WG????

    ok its not stonwalling i dont think. Its surging but i hear it in the screamer pipe more than ever. I bypassed the boost controller and it held the stock 9 lb WG spring pressure all the way up to 6500 rpm. Hook the BC back up and it creeps the stock 9 lbs all the way to 15 lbs by 6500 rpm. I think my boost controller is not working right? Chris has the same one so ill sweet talk him into letting me use his??

    the surge seems to be gone?? But im still tuning and dont really dare to beat the car up yet. Yes the front bracket it mounted to the top of the water pump, and runs throught the wires kinda. I'm going to make the bracket again to look better. I bought the cable, and it was not cheap, but it was a little to short for what i need? This is my attempt at making it work. Going to keep the dizzy. I dont think my haltech e6k will do coil over and sequential injection?

    also guys I took my 2mm head gasket appart. It was 5 layers- thin, thick, thin, thick, thin. Now its thin, thick, thin. Because of the stock dished turbo pistons that are in the motor now. I'm trying to get away from the crazy low CR that I must of had with the 2mm HG and stock turbo pistons.

    I bought all this stuff from a fellow Z car club member here in town. He said they did about $1400 of work to it. Chambers, ports. All to match the forged pistons I got from him also.

    I went on what chris did for his. Crappy auotzone brand oil. 2500 rpm for 20 min, then changed to Mobil 1 synthetic. Was using royal purple till I heard some things from Gabe

    ok guys i put the ported head and cam on and this thing pulls good. The cam is Isky's 490/480 lift turbo cam. here is a video of the head install.

    I got mine off e-bay, under $100 I think. And yes its, I dont know if "very" is the right word?..........yeah, Its very loud.

    I was looking at your write up on your motor. I wanted Garrett's intake also but I'd already bought this one. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes this manifold works out:sad:

    Automotive machine and supply in Ft. Worth Texas. That's where Chris had his head ported and he made 403whp at 17 lbs. I also ordered the same Isky cam Chris has.
