    I'm thinking of making a video of the entire install. Mods that I had to do to Megasquirt, file downloads, installing the .s19 file, linking msns-extra on your computer. Then the tunning side of it. Would you guys like to see that? Next weekend I'm going to a freinds house, and we are going to hook up his wideband to my car, then tune from there. The video camera will be there as well.

    The experience was good. When ever I got to a point and did not know the answer I just posted the question. Like the dwell settings, Inverting the spark signal, and the car not shutting off with the key. I fixed all those with help from other HybridZ members.

    Thats my color!! Thats the color I wanted to paint mine but the Home Depot Rustolium orange did not look right. Love that bumper too, I keep going back and forth on putting one on mine. Looks great!

    Thanks thats what I needed. Its alot of reading I hope it will give me the answer I need. The WIFE is not happy when I drag the home PC out to the shop.

    You need to ask TIM if he can make a Freestyle Injinuity cage to protect that paint!!! That car looks awesome! Those wheels are soooo wide!

    I did not build it my self, I got it from DIYautotune.com preassembled. And yes that "clicking" is the injectors poping away. When I bought this car almost 3 years ago (all stock) That was one thing that had me worried. I told the guy "it needs a valve adjustment" But no, it was just the injectors.

    I got a usb to serial port cable. The laptop has 3 usb out puts and one "vb"?? looks like serial, but with more pins. Anyway, the home computer works great with its serial to serial connection. Is there a "driver" I need to download for the laptops's usb?? I've tried everything in megatune as far as changing the comm #'s I'm stumped.

    It was a wild day in Waxahachie when 4 cops pulled me over in the Z. But that was before megasquirt. I wont pull over next time. lol.

    yea the old 14 inch tires are getting beat up BAD!

    It only took a day to wire it up, then about 3 days to get the settings close so I could drive it. LOTS of internet reading.

    thanks for all the coments guys!! I set the dwell, and inverted the coil signal, and she is running great. I still need to drive it. I now need to put all the wires away.

    is that for a hall sensor only?

    ok I now read that I have to set my dwell, I'm going to try Mobys setting of 6, 2.5, and 1.5. I did'nt even know what dwell was? I hope I did'nt burn up the vb921.

    when I unhook the alt. It will shut off with the key, but it still sputters after 10 sec.
