I've named Every car I owned....... Ill just named the highlights here..... first 300zx (z31) Zero (after Gundam wing zero system), z32 Katie ((named after one of the girlfriends... both had tons of red highlights...... err rust))... 02 civic hybrid Felfrosh (my german friend said it looked like a furry frog... so it stuck), first 240z Zelda, 2nd 240z preSbc swap it was unnamed or Wilda.... b/c she was a beast according to my friend.....Post SBC swap its Trixie... it means "The Joy Bringer" ...... and it sounds like its got a Z in it... if you have a lisp >_> but orange and black makes it a pumpkin looking car... and the black bits she has makes her..... look like a Halloween car.... so Trixie or treat >_> its cute tho it sounds like she has something hiding....

dose the amount of down time vary based on how hard/sharp the turn is?

my red ate **** after less then 100 miles **** holley Ill tell you what is it.. its A **** PUMP.. i had a red that was the SAME WAY except mine would last 45 mins or so then my car would DIE for lack of fuel.... I put it on a fluke and figured it was pulling 15 amps (box says 7 i believe)... so i knew something was getting bound..... THIS IS FROM holly representatives... evidently "the pump gas is not pure enough from a stations gas pump due to contamination from various sources and recommended me only using race gas for a holly red pump" get a Cheapy and call holly and bitch at them... i got my money back for the pump... even though it was purchased over a year ago now...

Umm sounds like something is shorting out..... is it stick? if its stick you can short out and umm keep running as soon as power comes back..... I would check every piece of electrical i can checking everything to make sure its not loose..... Back before I hybridized my z... and had a L24 with a stick..... i had a similar problem.... but its was only when i was pulling a negative G in a dip.... I couldn't figure out what it was until one night I was coming home hit this once dip doing 60 and then ::BLACK OUT:: ::Flames:: OMG HOOD ::SPARKS:: ::SPARK SHOWER::... the car kept running kinda.. after it was done the car acted like nothing happened and it continued home and changed my pants.. turned out my battery restraints has come loose and i didn't see it b/c the bolt on the bottom has came loose so it looked like it was secured

Oha .... welll they look stock... they are mounted in the front near the door jam... infact they are mounted RIGHT on top of the lower bolt for the door hinge

Therefor but the grace of God go I... I just feel so guilty some times when i see bums... I mean I know once you hit bottom is hard to get back up... if I could help I would..... if you want to hear a long story read on..... About 7 years ago before my grandmother died, we needed some one to paint our house, her house, her rental, and my dads 3 rentals.... my dad being cheap like he is went down to home depot and got a crew of 3 Mexicans and 2 white guys... the next day the only guys to come back to do the rest of the work was a Guy named billy... a really nice guy.... we find out her was once a professional painter and had a wife die recently, as well as his mother was hospitalized and died a few years back.... basically with out going into details... his brother took his mothers estate and dumped the bills on Billy, and his wife's family screwed him out of a lot of stuff, and once again dumped most of her medical bills on him... he lost his job b/c he worked for his brother in law.. who now had no reason to keep him around.... so he moved to the streets after he lost his house his car and most of his other possessions.... So.. upon finding all this out my father kept him employed on his payroll for about a month as well as giving him a FREE place to live (at my grandmothers in the spare guest house)... having him do odd jobs, and handy-work to fix the guest house up nice.... in this time we also found out he was a raging alcoholic... but he wanted to stop be never had any help...about 2 weeks later, my dad talked to him for 6 hours, my dad and our pastor then talked to him.. the guy accepted Jesus into his life and really was starting to ROCK on the road to recovery.. he'd now been sober for about a week..... so we figured the next step would be a rehab program... soo we took him down to the Salvation army After much persistence and nagging.... and you know what? the SALVATION ARMY... the ****ing bell ringers that PREACH about helping people like this get off the street.... TURNED HIM DOWN.... you know why? b/c He was illiterate... a total LOAD IMO.... Ever since then I have seen homeless in a TOTALY different light... some times its not that they Don't want to get off the streets... some times its they CANT get off the streets...

I was hoping for near stock replacements.... the closer to stock I keep this car the happier I am....... I will just wire some 6x9s in to some custom boxes this weekend and put those back there for now... anything is x10 better then these POS factory jobs....

SOOOO what are replacements? I took the front ones out.... and there is NO ROOM there is a MAXIMUM of 1 1/2 depth.... cheap *** 25watt max pos 30 year old speakers... so where can i get a nice set? what other Speakers are thin enough to fit ANYONE HAVE A NICE SYSTEM in their Z?
