So i was driving around downtown LA tonight kinda lost... so i pull into a gas station and sit in front of a pump and read my Thomas guide. Next thing i know I got a bum washing my windshield........... I roll down the window and tell him "no thanks" He tells me its free he usta have a 260z and it was hist first car....... so i think GREAT I am so going to get killed here..... but then i figure he lives down here.... he can tell me where 3rd street is and how to get it 3rd and Alverado(i think).... he says of course but they are both one way streets so you need to take and then I am lost after he tells me the first 3 turns i need to take to get to this specifically intersection..... so i ask him to point it out on my Thomas guide..... and this point he is leaning in my open window pointing at stuff on on map on my center console.... then he says its too dark in the car, and asks if i could turn on the light..... so i reach back and push the dome light on..... he says no the other light...... Now I am thinking I am surly going to die.... what other light? this guy is a nut job...... i respond, " Um what light is that?" he reaches up and pushes a little bar i didn't even know existed on the center dash and WHAM LIGHTTTTT.... I was so astonished and amazed... he must of really been a Z person back in the day... so i gave him $10 (all the cash i had on me) thanked him and zoomed away...... I don't really have a moral... other then OMG LA.... I love it!!

well just one more problem with my POS Z for a while i though it was a loose bolt in the door or door latch b/c id i opened and slam the door the vibration seemed to go away... (I now assume its b/c i was closing the door and stiffening the frame technically)... (i haven't been driving it a lot until this week) it seems that I make a "jump jump jump" sounds like the frame is rattling, and its never just 1 its always a series in rapid succussion... when i make left hand turns.... I can kinda of feel the car jump a little on the road.... I looked at my tires and only the rear seem to be a "feathered" on the edges this usually is misalignment right? That seem to be right..... maybe I am reading my tires wrong.... wasn't there another thing like feathering? um mm "sawtoothing" ? maybe that describes the condition of my rear tires more........ dose this mean I have too much toe? I do notice the car seems to loose grip a lot when cornering during/after i get some "jumps"........ and under heavy/medium breaking the car pulls right..... **** the more i talk the more i think Its bad caster......... sooo many problems with my Z soooooo little time to work on it before the Army...

Umm i belive that Panel is secured by the hatch being closed...... Ill go monkey with it in the morning.... maybe Ill just wait untill i can buy that CF rear hatch and secure it with internal hood pins I might get ..... the 5 lb sledge and a large screw driver....

So i've had a sticky rear lock for a while... but it always managed to open... but the button would stick in some times.... tonight i locked it and when i got home to unload..... it WOULD NOT unlock... it pushes in but i can feel nothing grab.... did i strip this little lock? there is a way to fix this? go i need to get the whole lock rekeyed? is there an emergency unlocking technique?

Lol i jacked it up more... now i get NO break lights AT ALL..... but EVERYthing elese works....... I am going to check my switches then trace my lines.....
