  1. Hey all so my injectors decided to go I need a set of 6 440 cc turbo Supra injectors does anyone have a set for sale?
  2. I would possibly be interested in motor and transmission mounts in addition to an oil pan for a rb25 into a 280z...
  3. Hey GR I'm not sure yet as they're moving to a new facility. They may have a new facility opening meet if they do I'll definitely let everyone know. One of my friends works for Kaizen and lets me know about all the events usually. We should do our own meet too I still haven't met any HybridZ guys in the northeast!
  4. O rings on my Supra 440cc injectors decided to go. Me fiddling with them at my work garage made them go from a slow drip leak to a torrent... Before getting towed home I had to get it out of the parking garage... which was interesting lol Going to be ordering a full O ring kit, hopefully from Pallanet and replacing all the O rings on my injectors.
  5. I wish we had a road like the Dragon in the Northeast there are no good driving roads around here Your car also looks great! not sure if this was you but did your car used to be black? I've seen another Z with the same exact rising sun logo on the hood. Also what spring/shocks setup are you running? I have the same wheels Konig rewind 15x7 on 225x50x15 Kumho ecstas (meh tires I know) but my car seems much lower than yours? I've got Tokico shocks and springs.
  6. Who makes that cf hood and how much? Looks very very nice! Calvin: I really need to work on my taillight panel too, its very very faded from all the sun what did you use to sand it down?
  7. Hey all this is mostly for any Mass/northeast guys (or anyone whos willing to make the trip!) My friends tuning shop is having a facility farewell party. Sunday April 29th 10am-5pm As you all know our last event was snowed out in October!!! We had a major show lined up and now we are coming back with the 2012 season opener. Kaizen Tuning will have a huge season opener sale going on that week with our best selling products, as well as some great specials on labor. In addition to the usual suspects, we will be featuring some of the great builds we have done through this year! Don't be that guy that missed out when you talk with friends and see the pictures online! We hope to see you all there at the show! THIS SHOW IS FREE PEOPLE! COME ON DOWN!!! Rain/Snow date May 6th 2012! I'll be going with some friends but I figure this would be a good chance to get together with any other Z guys and put some names/cars to peoples faces. I would love to get a crew of Z cars to go, anyone who would be interested in cruising there or just meeting there pm me and we can exchange contact info so we can meetup!
  8. Hey Andy did you have to do any tunnel bashing to get those seats to fit? or were they bolt in? I know the Z's are very picky about which seats can fit without some modifications since their rails are not that far apart.
  9. I'm running a l28et with megasquirt so no carb tuning here . I have to go into megasquirt and log/tune. Ugh I am SO bad at megasquirt though I'm like a fish out of the water... and I work in computers haha. Yeah Leon I've been checking my AFRs and they don't seem that far off from what I was running before, but you're right I need to datalog and retune. The thing with megasquirt is I'm a complete novice at it and I'm always afraid of screwing something up. The PO of the car did the megasquirt EFI.
  10. I got some exhaust work done last week. PO ran 2.5 dp to full 3" straight pipe exhaust to a muffler... It was pretty awesome at full throttle, but it had a horrible drone/resonation at 2-3k rpm and smelled horrible. Also my girlfriends neighbors could hear me coming from 2 blocks away... I got a high flow cat and resonator welded in and had the exhaust tucked a bit. Sad part is with the added back pressure the car definitely feels a bit slower but my brain cells aren't dying by the minute and I'm not going deaf anymore either. All in all sacrifice a bit of speed for alot of comfort. Racer Z let us know how those calipers fit, and thats a steal for a brake set. OldAndy is that a mint condition original dash? It looks beautiful! I was thinking of buying a new dash as mine has quite a few cracks but when they're going for over $1k each I can't justify spending that on a dash. Especially when there are many other parts of my car that need the money and care.
  11. This is true most people I meet don't know what kind of car my car is. The only giveaway is I still have the 280z emblems on my lower fenders. I've actually been approached by more non Z/non nissan guys with other cars than any Z or nissan guys. Also most of the people who comment on my car that know of it are older gentleman haha
  12. So I was getting off work the other day and when I got to my car I saw this. I thought it was funny as I've seen the car around before but I thought it was fitting that he parked next to me hah. I also usually try to park further away/alone to avoid stupid door dings and such. Birds of the same feather flock together? I guess? Or he knew my car was his cars great grandad heh
  13. Does anyone have experience/knowledge of 280z 2+2s? Are the seat sizes/spacing the same? or is the 2+2 larger/smaller? I want to change the seats out of my '76 280z 2+2 but I'm not sure if this list applies to my car as well... I haven't had a chance to go out and measure my seat dimensions but I don't know the stock 280z seat dimensions either... Any thoughts/insights would be much appreciated.
  14. Thanks for the help guys I'll go ahead and do exactly what you guys said
  15. I would be sooo down for these.
  16. I'm down for some patches as well as those hybridZ shirts/hats/hoodies/stickers. I want some of those!!!
  17. So I was nearly stranded the other day when I tried starting my car and all I hear is this whirring or whining sound. Car doesn't turn over no ignition at all... Crap thought the worst and figured it might have been my MS setup or engine related. Turns out my starter somehow was loose and I was able to get the car started by holding the starter in place. Go home check it out the next day and somehow (I have no idea) I'm missing the bottom bolt for my starter. Top bolt was the only one holding the starter to the motor and I'm surprised I didn't lose my starter driving around. Does anyone have extra starter bolts they can sell me? or at least point me in the right direction to get some? Or even know the dimensions of them so I can replace with similar bolts? Any help is much appreciated Thanks Pat

  19. Hey all I've lurked for a little bit on this board and have learned a ton from everyone here. I'd like to try to get a meet up together so I can put some faces to names and see everyone elses rides. Who would be in? as I'm not sure if some people have already put their rides away for winter.
  20. Crappy cellphone pics for now hopefully I'll be able to do a full fall shoot when I get my DSLR back. I sold the green one recently and boy do I already miss him Silver one I bought from Sims76 he's done great work and hopefully I'll be able to add more to it.
  21. Hey Evil I'm in Boston (Newton actually 15 mins outside of Boston) Theres some nice places in MA but I'm sure you're sick of all the snow and cold in the NE. I'm looking for property too but I'm sort of locked down here b/c of work/education at the moment I work in IT. I'll tell ya NE property is NOT cheap at the rate things are going I might be able to afford a house in a few decades lol. If you ever need a guide or want to visit Boston let me know I'd be more than happy to oblige.
