slownrusty
Hi Gang - I am continuing to work on my car and going to re-mount my horns, except they sound like a submerged bee not matter how much I adjust them. What do you recommend, something that preferably hooks up to the stock spade connector would be great...but would definitely like something that is loud. Thanks! BLOZ UP
I have these, almost a direct swap: http://www.amazon.co...s&zgid=15736071 It requires making a little ground wire from the horn to the chassis, but that's about it. Nelsonian
Hella supertone model claims a 118db in a twin horn package. I don't have them, but they seem to be what you are after.
LanceVance
+1 for the Hella setup. It's a regular upgrade for Subaru's (the stockers are a little... feminine ) and you can hear lots of clips on YouTube. My stockers are also shot, and I have always planned on picking up two sets, one for the STI, and one for the Z! BLOZ UP, any pictures? BLOZ UP
This appears to be the only picture of them installed on my car. I had them working before I started my engine swap. Edited September 26, 2011 by BLOZ UP
slownrusty
That's awesome, thanks BlOZ UP and Nelsonian, I ordered a pair through Amazon this morning and excited to try them. As a bonus they are cool looking too. Thanks again. Yasin

HowlerMonkey
Volvos had some super loud and obnoxious horns in the 80s 240 series cars.
cygnusx1
A client of mine had these in his car, wired on an A-B switch with the factory horns. They sounded GREAT. http://www.jcwhitney.com/chrome-dual-trumpet-120db-air-horns/p2008989.jcwx?filterid=j1

cygnusx1
NASA has a horn woofer with about a 13 foot diameter flare. They play super low frequencies at high amplitudes to test satellites for their ability to handle launch vibrations. You could probably shake the other car apart, and possibly disable the driver with that one.
