santanawhite
OK, so I'm in the process of gathering parts for my VQ35 swap into my Z. Aesthetically I'm really considering this color scheme. Dark Titanium Metallic, its found on the dodge charger and challengers. That color choice with two matte black racing stripes. Has anyone done this paint job, or have pictures of an S30 with it on. The car will also have ZG Flares with Rota RB-R 17x9 -13mm (Front 2 Wheels)and 17x9.5 -19mm (Rear 2 Wheels. Not sure if the Flares are gonna be black or color matched to the body yet. These are some reference pics of the paint job. Opinions, comments?
zero
I'm thinking of a similar color. John from Bad Dog parts has the maxima gray with some added flake on his car. It's gorgeous in person.
santanawhite
That looks nice too, I'm going for a darker look.
Zman0690
Well I too am in the process of a VQ swap and am blacking out my chrome and going with the GT-R Gun Metallic. Here is a pic of it, I have examined it up close and in the sun and it is just amazing.

Nelsonian
All of those colors would look great on a z. Just when I thought I had narrowed down three different silvers. Your right,it is hard to choose....

santanawhite
Well after looking at the ZR-1 Cyber Gray I too have fallen in love with it. Ive been trying to visualize it on my Z but couldn't get a clear picture, so after a quick edit in PS i came up with this. My car will have the red Interior with red s2000 seats. That's why i added a hint of red to the seats. I used IceHounds Z, hope he doesnt mind. The Corvette is there for reference. I did the best i could. what do you guys think? RomanLA
I'm totally digging that ZR-1 color! The previous owner of my car painted it a metallic grey from either an 86-89 or 90-93 Toyota Celica.
