Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
Hello all. Everything is ready to start producing the Kit and for sale here at eBay ----> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33564&item=2417020676 I tried to keep the cost down as much as possible. I still managed to keep it at the $250 mark. $189.95 for just the hats as some of you requested who are running a larger rotor thickness (will not come with hat/rotor hardware). http://wilwood.com/products/rotors/ulc32/index.asp http://wilwood.com/products/calipers/calipers.asp. All calipers with 3.5 mount holes and 1.25 disc width will work. that's what makes our setup so versatile. you can decide what you need for you vehicle and budget. Calipers range from $100-180 and rotors only go for about $45 a piece . Add it up wow it comes to about $550 + brake pads. feel free to email me if you have any more questions. thanks Juan http://www.JSKinnovations.com you can do a search to get prices on the parts. one place I would recommend would be http://www.precisionbrakescompany.com. they take about a week before they send parts but I got mine so I would buy from them again
CruxGNZ
So, just to be clear, the $249.95 on your Ebay auction is for 2 rotor hats (not anodized), 2 caliper mounting brackets and all necessary hardware, correct? !M!

j260z
my 74 260z has only waited 29 years for these types of parts to be available. if we follow this logic then you zxers will have to wait for another 5 years minimum....
jaime240z
That looks pretty sweet. I've been looking for an affordable brake upgrade!

Jeff
O.K. I took the plunge and just bought a set as well. Are there any plans for a rear setup as well? It would be nice to have a matching setup on the rear.

Guest gprix1
Why get big brakes when you can get these for a fraction of the cost http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=355952&BQ=jcw2
Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
I do not have a photo of the complete setup but will soon . If you like the stuff we came out with already then that is what you can expect with the hats and caliper brackets. The photo pictured is from wilwood's site some years ago but the hats will look similar. Thanks for the good feedback. It only pushes me to go furter with the next item or even redesign some of the stuff already I have some plans for the 70-78 rear brake setup. Once that is done I will move on to the ZX's. Busy busy busy. I tried to make it out the the MSA show but couldn't justify going that far from NY with not enough to show.I will make it to 2004's. Thanks again Juan

Bob_H
Ok, first, I don't know any of the parties involved. Second, this is merely an observation, not a comment on the product. Take a close look at the picture in the e-bay ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=33564&item=2417020676 And the picture on Mike Gibson's site, fonebooth.com on his brake page: (look at his stage 3 setup) http://www.fonebooth.com/brakes_zcar.html Or here is the picture,(look at properties to see where it is from): They are clearly the same picture. Either you are using Mikes part,(very likely), or the picture was stolen. not accusing, just observing. I missed the beginning of your discussion about this part, so you may have already covered this, if so I apologize. -Bob
Mikelly
I don't think Juan's intent was to steal Mike's Pic other than to show an example of what these units look like. Further, that rotor and hub adapter are pretty ocmmon pieces, but defenitely custom due to the back spacing issues... I've researched it and I can't find them in ANY of my wholesale racecar parts catalogs. Juan isn't getting them from Mike, because Mike doesn't sell them for $250 for the caliper adapters and hub adapters... I paid $900+ for my front Outlaw setup with the same adapters, so IF there is an issue, I'd let Mike/SCCA and Juan sort that out. That said, I applaud Jaun for coming up with a MUCH MORE affordable brake solution. If someone came up with a control arm solution LIKE MINE for less, I'd say COOL, Good Job! JUAN, Are you gonna do a 5 lug setup for those of use using the 300ZX front hub??? I want these for the other projectZ! Mike
Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
I was only using it as an example Bob so people understand what a wilwood brake mod looks like. Our hats will offer our JSK logo on the back, anodizing and a bit more curves than the one pictured. Also if you look at his picture properties it shows the picture is from Wilwood.com. His site is not working now so I cannot confirm but only remember seeing it . Bob take a look at our site. http://www.JSKinnovations.com. We do some custom affordable work not seen anywhere else for Z's that are all CNC machined especially the fuel rail. I have to get a better camera to show how our parts are coming out Hey Mike I would like to do a 5 lug setup. Is is just changing to 5 bolt rotor pattern . Does the hat thickness stay the same .280z hub 300zx hubs same? If this is so can be easily done. If someone would like to send me a 300zx 5 bolt rotor I can offer a discount on that future order.
