dmyntti
If you do it I think it would look much better with the windshield layed back. I know this isn't easy but the windshield looks wrong in my opinion on an otherwise beautiful car. Just my opinion.
akeizm
I'm a hardtop man at heart. But that has to be the best looking convertible I've ever seen! I've seen convertible Z's before and hated them but that would look awsome!
wheelman
Leave it as a hardtop and do a second one with the convertible setup. Wheelman

CruxGNZ
I'm with Doug on this one. A removable roof would be a neat idea and it should keep you busy for a while . !M!

z-REX
seems you're left with a choice between badass and badass... i think there's too much windshield on the photochop... but then again this is terry. he'll find a way to make it look 500,000 times better than the cgi!!! Dan Juday
What's the matter Terry? Car getting too close to being finished? There is a pathology to all this. It's called Old Lady Winchester syndrome. Ernie was right! We have some sick people on this site. Terry won't finish his car and Tim won't drive his. All in good fun, guys.
z-REX
they should trade. terry's car'll get done and tim won't even recognize his.
ToplessZ
NO NO dont lay the glass back It looks bad I saw a silver convertible on the sleek z website and it looks terrible imho. A couple of things. The miata windshield fits perfect with some welding but then you have to do something custom to make the side windows work I say either chop the z glass about 4 inches or make a tray and set the windshield down into the cowl and then remove the 4 inches from the existing frame. The curvature of the glass is good its just too tall. Also I dont like that spoiler at all with the convertible. Love it with the hard top though. Oh yeah and that grey thing needs some paint Love your car man. Make it how you will enjoy it most.
innerware
Keep it a hard top. And definately paint it. Although it does look good.
