LS1240Z
The for sale section doesnt come up under new post so I hope the nice moderators dont delete this:)This RX7 is a 93 R1 Edition with 75K miles on the car and 23K on the motor. Car was professional detailed today. The interior was swapped to tan because the Black interior was extreamly faded and one seats had a huge rip from the previous owner having a pen in his back pocket. This interior was from a FD with less then 50K and old man owned so it was cherry. The car sat almost 2 yrs before I got to it. All gauges work on the car except the Speedo, I need the calibrator to get it working. Body on the car is perfect with no dents at all. Clean title in hand and always a California car. This motor is from my black FD that I had running in the car for 7 to 8 months before I pulled it for this car. The car has 421RWHP. The black FD’s best time is 10.9 @ 124mph on video and got the Dyno tune. I pulled the motor from the black FD because I’m redoing the whole car the whole car basically. This car will be sold with a recent California smog Cert.Car gets 21 to 25 MPG and a daily driver if needed to be. These are the mods. 2001 LS1/T56 drive train AFR 205 Heads Ported TB Center force Duel friction clutch 3K Tranny is rebuilt/ receipt for proof Comp Cam Duration .050 228 228/Lobe separation 112/Valve lift 588 588 Hinson conversion kit/ Powder coated K member ASP under drive pulley New JTR Long Tube headers to Magna flow X pipe to duel 2 ½ inch Borla’s -100 miles Exhaust is all mandrel bends and no crush bends. JTR radiator with FD cooling fans Hinson aluminum drive shaft Diff is stock 4.11 Power steering New Aero motive regulator and all plumbing W/fittings Willwood clutch slave master W/custom Hydraulic line made Cold air induction 99 spec tail lights New Walbro 255 Fuel pump Odyssey battery in engine compartment Tire have 75% tread on them. I have the A/C bracket on the motor but not the compressor. The compressor is included. It will need a charge and 2 lines made for it to work. Like I told a couple other guys, if you’re in the market for a LS1 FD and slightly interested…..you need to go for a ride. The ride will sell the car. The acceleration this car has is like a 1000cc sport bike. This car will kill all 600cc sport bikes, Z06’s, Vipers. I can squash most 1000cc depending if they can ride there bike or not. Most guys cant. I’m sure there are a few things I missed and will update when I think of them. Asking $23,000 for the car and giving the buyer the option to buy the car for $21,500 without the 205AFR Heads. I will put the stock heads back on with Manley springs and Titanium retainers. Send me PM’s in interested. If you have nothing decent to say….Please don’t say it at all. I will post some video of the car in a day or so. I'm located in Walnut Creek,Ca. http://www.torquecentral.com/showthread.php?p=290348#post290348

LS1240Z
Thanks man.The reason I'm selling is is because I have another LS1 RX7 and a LS1 240Z.No sence in having 90K in toys when you dont own a home.I owe about 20K in credit cards and need to get paid up.I'll still have 2 other realy fast cars when this one is sold. kraymond
How much does the Mazda weight and how hard is the swap compared to a Z?
LS1240Z
The Mazda is around 2800 with 3/4 full tank. The swap is alot harder them the Z.The Z is a walk in the park compared the this car. You have way more room to work with in the Z.

mas28O
I had almost the same build up that you now have. I use to run my old RX7 at Sac all the time. I will start to go out there again after I dyno my ls2/rx7. Mike
