CruxGNZ
I read it before and I read it again now... I still don't get it. It's supposed to be funny I take it, but how? Seriously, I'm stumped.
Guest bastaad525
I read it before and I read it again now... I still don't get it. It's supposed to be funny I take it, but how? Seriously, I'm stumped. it's a play on how the japanese pronounce some common english words. Ice cream = aisu kurimu (prounced ah-ay-soo kuh-ree-moo, yes the a and i in aisu are pronounced as two seperate syllables). Baseball = besuboru (an ever popular pun on the Japaneses' lack of the L sound, instead pronounced more like an R, also every consonant sound in japanese ends in a vowel sound except the sound N). Anyways... kinda funny a lot of people will hear japanese say these common english words (as they are commonly used in Japan for a lot of things) and not even realize what they are saying. Forrest
Its supposed to be kind of funny until used panty machine - that's the punchline. Maybe used panty vending is so quotidian now that it's not that funny.
auxilary
No, it's funny because japan really does have used panty vending machines:
