Mounted my Sport Max 002 wheels and 225's on.. mmm

Recommended Posts

I finally coughed up the cash and bought some 15x8 0 offset SportMax (Primax) 002 wheels in gunmetal..

Tires are 225/60/15 rear 205/60/15 front

Yokohoma YK520 tires

Wheels were $90 a piece! cheeappP!

*EDIT* - added new pics!

thought id take some better pics in the daylight and different angles for those of you who want to see a lowered Z with these wheels.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but looks like 8" wide in back and 7" in the front? Otherwise your 205's would be s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d.

Damn, I gotta decide on wheels soon...15x7 rewinds or 15x8 sportmax...Arg

Looks awesome dude. What a progression this car has seen...

I want my 'iron cross' wheels to look like your old ones:

How did you polish them? Mine are still factory painted black with polished edges. I was thinking of using chemical striper to remove the paint then start with a buffing wheel on my die-grinder and some polishing compound. I guess I'll see what happens....

wow, i just ordered those same wheels when i got my z a couple days ago.

just wondering do the 225's in the rear make the speedo correct? i ask because i just got my first classic z and the previous owner told me that the speedo's off cause the tires are smaller.
