Guest zcarlust
I purchased these lower control arms for my 280Z and I am very impressed with them. I wanted to adjust toe and camber on the rear and these allow me to do that. They are built to stand major HP and the quality of the welds and hiem joints are great. The only difficult part of the installation is removing the long axel bolt that attaches the strut to the lower control arm. If it has never been removed it might get damaged when you remove it but new bolts are supplies with the kit. I am getting about 0.2 degrees of camber change with one full turn of the hiem joints. I think they better than the Arizona Z control arms because they are a stronger design and made out of better quality parts.
Guest Mike
$580 ??
Dragonfly
$580 ?? I have been told in person by Jerry the owner of Zraceproducts that if you ever break one (or both) of his LCA's that he will replace the broken one free. His only request is to see the car that broke it and hear the story behind it. I do also know a couple of guys running these LCA's on thier cars and they love them. Guest Mike
For that price I could buy insurance specific to those parts:wink:

auxilary
Hearing it is one thing, I'd rather see warranty info printed
hotimport
So as the choice goes we only have to chose from these or the AZC ones, so which one is better??? I think prices is about the same.
auxilary
JTR doesn't carry control arms. I just checked their site, didn't see anything of the sort. Ross's pricing for a pair of adjustable rear LCAs is 595 for the pair, so pricing isn't out of touch with reality. Arizona Z car (pictured below) sells their LCAs for 329/each. Guest Mike
I was hoping no one saw my post about JTR carrying control arms;-) I saw a set just today in the $380 price range and now I can't remember where I saw them. If I find them again, I'll post the link.

jtmny1999
Ok so we got 3 to choose from. MM: Good quality part, like the blue but people say AZC are better. I wonder which is the best from all 3.......

I wonder which is the best from all 3....... I still dont know which one is better alltought they still might snap in a case of too much power and torque. But the one from zraceparts looks alot more better and heavy duty craftsmanship. The biggest thing is to really test it. If someone would have to run coilovers one of those arms, either one and all the new bushings. I think that would be only way to compare them. I guess all the above manufactures should donate their products to me for testing....lol
Dragonfly
I have had in my hands both the Arizona Z LCA's and the ZRaceProducts LCA's and I can say that there is no mistaking the differance in strength and durability. I have never seen the Modern Motorsports LCA's in person I have only seen them in pictures so I can not make a comment about them. With that said I purchased just over a year ago the Arizona Z LCA's and I have them sitting in my garage in the box they came in (my car has been fully dissasebled for over a year now) and after ZRaceProducts finished his LCA's he showed them to me and I started kicking myself in the butt for not waiting for his to be finished with testing before buying the others (unrealisticaly... thought I would have the car going way before Jerry had his LCA's ready to sell). So... anyone who would rather have the Arizona Z LCA's for what I paid for them let me know because I will buy the ZRaceProducts LCA's in a heartbeat. Thanks for commenting on what you actually have in hand---credibility is a good thing BTW, I'm not knocking AZC control arms -- this is just a comment on Dragonfly's post which impressed me. But the one from zraceparts looks alot more better and heavy duty craftsmanship. You will (almost) never snap a rear LCA because of engine power or torque, not even a stock one. Rear LCAs rarely fail and the root cause is almost always: 1. Improper bushing/ARB installation. 2. Damage. 3. Lateral loads on a race track from big wheels and tires. I say "almost never" because there are people out there who can break anything given enough time.
