rturbo 930
So that's the missing red car? Hope it goes to a good home.
texis30O
I would buy it. I have sent a email
Gollum
BTW, if the ad is accurate (and the pictures match imo) then I'm not far from the area. Would gladly go look and talk to the owner for anyone. About a 30 minute drive and a bridge toll, but in the area I grew up, so I know it well. texis30O
There is a good chance that I would take you up on that. Let's see what the seller says. I would do nothing but preserve it..... back to the way it was......
ryan95i4
Just read this whole thread, very cool story -- even cooler if the recent CL ad is legit!
auxilary
I'd buy it right now if I had somewhere to store it
fast240z
I hope it works out for one of you guys. I would love to see an enthusiast take possession of this piece of Datsun lore. Myself, I also have no place to put it!
Gollum
I'd buy it right now if I had somewhere to store it I'll give you my address
auxilary
Either mine or DavyZ's photos from 2001. It was owned by Hoover at that point, if I recall correctly. You can also spot a number of former HybridZ members in the photos. (alsil, jumbo240ez, 73botiz)
260DET
That 'modified' Z has not traveled well through the decades looks wise but if someone wants to save it then good on them. Even cars hit with the ugly stick need some love
S30Stig
I noticed what looks to be that same white car for sale on craigslist in Whitestone, Queens in NY. I'd never heard of the "Primadonna" Z cars before and ironically my search led me here. If anyone is interested, here's the link to the current ad: https://newyork.craigslist.org/que/cto/5955165173.html It definitely looks like the same car in auxilary's pictures minus the fan coolers on the wheels. rturbo 930
That's definitely it. Terrible ad though. At the very least could have provided some background instead of just "familiarize yourself." Not sure why he posted on CL instead of on here for a car that belongs to a very specific market.
