sulla
Just noticed this was posted on ebay today. I would love to have it but its not going to be in my budget. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120143781866&rd=1,
buZy
That is so cool! Race Z history there. Reminds me of watching Paul Newman race at Donnybrooke when I was a kid.
cygnusx1
I just placed a bid and was instantly outbid. Oh well. I owned it for a nanosecond. At least I saved all the photos to my hard drive.
DrSideways
That is so cool! Race Z history there. Reminds me of watching Paul Newman race at Donnybrooke when I was a kid. Please note that this car was not raced until some few vntage events from the late '80s until recently. Even with that amount of timein years the total number of events and hours on the chassis is very low. It is still may be a fairly valuable car and it will be very interesting to see what it goes for. Alan

JMortensen
Yeah, apparently the owner thinks its worth more than $7000...
randy 77zt
i usually just put it in my watch list-and dont bid -why drive the price up?
RB26powered74zcar
I knew my measly $5,000 wouldn't meet the reserve. I just help jump start it. I always wait till the last few seconds to bid when I really want it (esnipe).
aziza z
very cool. How much do you think its worth thou (his reserve?)?
sulla
Its going to be really interesting to see what it goes for. Besides being a great car the history around it should really help it get a good price.
cygnusx1
Hey, I'll never be able to bid what they want but since I'm in NY, if it's within an hour or two of me, I will gladly test drive it for someone interested in bidding... Of course to properly test drive it the client should fund a track day at Limerock or Watkins for me...
johnc
I'm betting over $125K...
JMortensen
I'm betting over $125K... Really? Even though it apparently wasn't the "real" car, but a pace car instead? I'd guess between 60-80. $125 would surprise me. I guess it wouldn't be the first time I was surprised. Does anyone know what Frisselle's car sold for? Mikelly
I'd be surprised if that car sold for less than $30K... And if I didn't have a "Get 100% out of debt while the gettin's good" plan going right now, I'd buy that sucker! Mike
