Six_Shooter
HOLY ISH!!! IS that really out near you? You'll have to take me over to see it when I come out. I've seen pictures of those cars from long ago, but have never seen one in person. Cool.

Canadianz
Yeah the thing is really weird is a street across from me in Hamilton. Across from the University. The whole bottom was fiberglass and contoured. I had no idea if it was legit or a toy or somthing ..

3.0Retroride
There is a guy down at Lake Ozarks, MO that restores those things to top condition that lives right next door to a friend of mine. Every time I'm down there it seems like he's taking one out. Just drives it right down his ramp and off he goes.

Evan Purple240zt
I would so get a girl in that thing and drive it into a lake just to see the look on her face How can you see the look on her face when she is in the trunk?
Careless
How can you see the look on her face when she is in the trunk? Well if you've got a spot light I'm sure the cinder block and rope will hold her steady for long enough before the bubbles come up.
Austin240Z
Haha, an amphicar cool, They're worth 50-75K in good condition. If I remember right there were just over 3,000 manufactured. A good friend of mine has one. His grandparents had it in a barn for 20 years up north somewhere, and he just recently brought it down here. Needed some new rubber parts, but it started right up. Awesome car, pretty slow though. Top speed is about 75 mph I beleive. I've seen about 12 of them here in Austin. The local owners used to come out as a group to the car meets back when there was still a place to meet up at. *Edit* haha, I didnt notice the wiki link till after I posted =P atleast my info was pretty darn close*
