EvilC Posted June 15, 2009 Author Share Posted June 15, 2009 Yes the car is back! Man does it look better than I thought it would. One slight oops taking the car off the trailer, front wheels rub the corner of the fender...made a slight bend in the pasn side fender...easy fix. The fender needs to be trimmed some more. That will take place once I get the front air dam on and more test fitting. Bad dog frame rails were welded on and lots of welding of new sheet metal. So "new" rust free fenders were used in the fronts and tabco was used in the rear to fix that mess I had. Enough of me talking....some pics! Just getting back to NY: Front View: Rear View: Rear Pasnside: Rear Driverside @ the house: As far as the rear, the ride height will be lowered....so I will post some pics once I get the flares mounted. I spent two summers in upsate NY, we would go to Montreal on our days off, and one time while being stopped at the border, a border patrol officer told us that they were illegal. Radar Detectors in New York: Radar detectors are legal to use in New York, however they may not be used in commercial vehicles. Laser Jammers in New York: Laser jammers are legal to use in New York. jeffer949 Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 I dont use a radar detector to tell me when i need to slow down i use them to tell me when it is actually ok to go fast lol. Once i pulled out of a car meet and took off on a run up through 4th gear. There was a cop behind me. There was a hill that obstructed his view lucily he clocked me at 90 after i had been on the brakes a LONG time. I went out and bought a radar detector the next day. lol .
