80LS1T Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Well I used to have a small 3 LED turn signal in my head light housing. They were not very bright and you couldn't really see them from the sides so it wasn't exactly the best set up. I recently found some 9.6" strips of LED's online and decided to mount them up below the head light buckets where they aren't super visable unless they are on. Here are the results... These are very easy to see even in daylight and they curve around to the side so you can see them from the side too. They kind of have that Audi look to them! The stock 280Z lights are nothing to brag about, though, so maybe it wouldn't be a bad change. Thanks for the video. Perhaps getting two and filling up the entire gap they're in would be a good-looking adjustment. Or, perhaps there's enough room to wrap around your the stock headlamps and look decent. I installed a painless wiring kit for the whole car so I have a "heavy duty" flasher, so I didn't need to do anything to make them blink normal. The day shot is kind of deceiving. They are actually pretty bright. I have been driving around with them for the past few weeks and I haven't got any honks or fingers thrown my way because people didn't know I was turning so I'm pretty sure they are very visible.
