bschiltz
Yeah, the University in its infinite wisdom has made today a half snow day, so all classes after noon are canceled. 10 inches of snow isn't anything to get worked up about after all. Not to say I would have gone to any of my classes anyway
Darrel
quitcher bitchin, when I was going to school we had to walk 2 miles one way through 2' of snow while walking uphill both ways.
letitsnow
You guys complain a lot, 10" isn't a good reason to close school. My college has closed maybe 3 times in the past 20 years. In a very active lake effect snow band.
Lazyeye
My college (OIT, Klamath Falls, OR) only canceled classes when the 4 feet of snow on one of the buildings caved in the roof. Also they kept classes going when the Bus wasn't running and I literally DID walk to school both ways in a foot or two of fresh snow. 19762802+2
When I went to public school, we got one snow day last year and I think we had 2 feet of snow? Anyways The only way you get lucky around here is if you live in the Foothills/mountains and go to school in town, Then most of the time the school buses can't make it. I Do online schooling so I don't have this problem anymore, plus more free time for job/280z.
