280-ZeD Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 (edited) Between Dad and I weve owned a nov 69 240z(1970 model),a 72 240z, an october 73 260z(1974 model), now a 1978 280z, and my little brother once had a 1979 280zx (we like S30's better for many reasons) Anyone else been around em for 30 years? Riding in my uncles black 280z when I was 5(?) was my first experience in a z car and is what got me started. I Saw the 75 for sale when I was 14 and my parents said I could buy a project car of my choice and I decided I liked that one so I bought it, I didn't know anything then, But now I'm on my second one at 17 years old and I know a lot more then I did haha. bobbyc Posted October 11, 2010 Share Posted October 11, 2010 dad had a 72 240z, 78 280z, uncle had a 83 280zx, i had an 81 280zx, 73 240z, and now a 72 240z. when my mom was pregnant with me, she and my dad were in a wreck in the 78 that totaled it, and when i was 4 i was riding home in the 83 280zx with my uncle when he fell asleep on the highway. luckily we spun out into the median but i remember it ripping a couple wheels off.
