Jetta or Gold TDI with manual tranny. Make sure its between 2000 and 2003. After 2000 they changed the injector pump to a crappy one. With a TDI make sure you get the oil records, if not changed with the right oil the cams are ruined.
If anyone wants to actually talk to someone who has made thousands of gallons of biodiesel, pm me. Tons of bad info about wvo costs, svo usage, and biodiesel in general on the internet.
Your post could not be more wrong. Resturants DO NOT pay to have their grease taken away, they are paid for it! I should know, I pick up cooking oil at resturants and have to pay for it. And yes, they did run the Merceded on SVO for about 30 miles or one gallon. But you need a dual tank set up to properly run SVO in a diesel engine.
And Biodiesel will cost you more like 1.50 a gallon, as methanol is at $5.00 a gallon in most places, and thats before you add the cost of the catalyst.
Ethanol is a great race fuel i will agree, but I do not like it for alot of reasons. this article has some good info.

Man please post pics if you do get it.
I give .50 to the resturants per gallon for the oil, and I have to add 20% methanol by volume, and a catalyst KOH for reaction, it adds up to a little under 1.40 a gallon counting filters, chemicals, power, and fuel to go get it.
It depends, are you going to keep it till the wheels fall off? If so I would get a ram with the cummins, i love my 2002. If you are going to keep it a few years, the Tundra.
