Well if u read it there were some members such as Clifton who has no exhaust fume problems. I have rode it quite a few s30s and yes there is such a thing as one without exhaust fume problems.

fuel injected Zs can reek of exhaust just as easy as the carbed ones. Its not the fuel system, its the cars shape among other things. In Misc. Tech there is a thread "Fumes in my Car" read it http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=100260

just called balanced performace, they wanted $4500 to $5500 to rebuild the motor thats friggin crazy i would put a chevy crate motor in before going that route. Mark I called your friend and the guy that built his 510 motor has since quit rebuilding engines, so im back to square one it looks like

that tunnel was wet inside and austin was the only "kid" on the group. There were like i said 5 or 6 other adults who crashed in that tunnel at the same time. I know austin personally and he is a real cool guy and can drive really well

Hey guys, I recently finished up my 76 with l28et swap and installed an all brand new interior. Well after all this work my turbo motor needs to be rebuilt. I dropped it off 3 weeks ago at a shop about an hour from here and he still hasnt touched it. He did admit he was about 2 weeks behind as it was but thats not what really bothered me. I asked him about using a aftermarket clutch like a centerforce or an ACT and he looked at me like i was an idiot and said they were all trash. He said he would only use a nissan clutch but when asking him about installing the full autometers i bought he kinda just stared at me and told me they were nothin but a waste of money. So if anyone can recommend a descent shop in the NC/SC TN/VA area or even GA that can rebuild my engine and install my gauges it would be great. Or even better if someone on here can do it and needs to make some money im up for that as long as you have some refrences. And before you ask why dont u do it yourself, well school, job, gf, having a life, no room, no tools, etc. etc.

thats 240hoke, he crashed his car in a tunnel on the blue rigde parkway with 5 or 6 others. Badass car but he is rebuilding a 240 with the same motor.

hey jason what is the reliabilty like on a z31 and z31t? does high mileage not affect them similar to how the l28et can take high mileage and still be relaible?

Recently i deceided to start lookin around for possibly another Z. I just finished up my 76 280zt and have some extra change and thought it would be nice to have another Z that is pretty much stock to lightly modded as a daily driver. So i was browinsing the local classifieds and their is a 1989 300zx advertised as an Anniversary Edition for $2500. Well i call the guy and ask his is he sure its an 89 and not an 84 like all AEs are. Well turns out it is an 84, no suprise. He tells me it has the crescents on the seats and on the fenders but says it is red. I thought all AE's were the off white color? He said under the hood, door jambs, everywhere was red. Then he suprised me again and said the car did not have t-tops? All thought all z31's have t-tops, anyone got some input
