  1. Mine was a '08 ZZR 600. I wanted either the new zx6 or cbr 600, but couldn't afford those at the time.
  2. That is going to look awesome. Did you buy the G-nose like that, or did you graft in a different bumper to the headlight buckets?
  3. Wow, amazing work. I can't wait to see what you have planned for the headlights/nose of the Z. Should look killer man!
  4. The TB is an 80mm Turboworks I picked up from ebay. No issues with the 12.5" brake kit hitting 15" wheels. A little update... I just had the driveshaft built and ready to go on the car, and J Taylor is working on the down pipe.
  5. What wastegate are you using? I would use a higher psi spring...
  6. I have the same problem with my VSS. I was thinking about making a block off plate, but there is only one bolt holding it on so I'd be worried about it leaking...
  7. Hell yea man, I've heard nothing but good things about Innovate. One more part to add to the pile...
  8. I got some more parts in the mail today... CXracing intercooler 27x12x3 and an Innovate wideband
  9. Haha, that's awesome man, glad I could help. I got some more parts in the mail yesterday... Jegs dual pass Radiator Oil feed and return 3" downpipe stuff
  10. Congrats on the magazine cover Kuro. Very cool that you and your husband are both featured.
  11. Definitely post pics when you get then in. I ended up buying RSX seats for only $200.
  12. Holy crap man... I've heard nothing but horror stories regarding ChaseBays harnesses. I hope it works out for you though. The build is looking amazing btw
  13. Thanks. Haven't touched it in a couple weeks since I've been out of town, but I did purchase these tan rsx seats.
  14. updates??? hows the fitment and how did you mount it securely?
  15. Thanks man! I finished the fuel system today... And a random picture of the RB...
  16. Wifey getting her hands dirty ... And on to the fuel sump
  17. I was comparing that to other 280z radiators, like this one... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aluminum-Radiator-70-78-Datsun-240Z-260Z-280Z-RB-RB20DET-RB25DET-SHROUD-12-FAN-/250901727939?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6ae88ac3&vxp=mtr ...which has an overall height of 13.5". Now I haven't measured how much height I can get away with in my 280z, but i will pull out the measuring tape tomorrow.
  18. rb25's are relatively cheap compared to the parts you will buy to make the power you want, so I say do what I'm going to do... Buy all the parts that you need to make an intended max HP goal, lets say 650 hp... Put those parts on a stock RB and tune it down to whatever HP number you feel is safe for the motor, let's say 400 hp. Then buy another rb25 long block, and build it to withstand your max hp goal, meanwhile you are able to drive your RBZ and enjoy it.
  19. Well, I didn't realize it at first, but the Mckinney mounts I bought used were made for the 240z... So I just made my own transmission mounts using the oem L28 trans mount on the rb25 transmission. Crappy cell phone pics!
  20. I just checked the measurements on the AE86 vs s30 radiator, and it looks like the AE86 rad is 3" taller... That could be a problem. post pics of fitment when you get it installed.
  21. Plus supporting mods... Here is my build http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/105067-richs-rb25-s30-build/
