    This whole set up is new and the motor has not been started yet. I am trying to get all the lines ran before I start the motor.

    I am getting ready to install my cooler and radiator and was having some questions. Hayden the trans cooler company says you need to find out the direction of trans fuild flow and determine the return line and the sending line. You guys with 700r4's wanna give me some help?

    Can I just run high speed? I bought the painless wiring fan switch with a rely. It is thermostaticly controled.

    Looks good Dan, How did you wire your fan? Are you running it on high speed all of the time?

    Well, my dad did the ram air set up on his and it looks and should work trick! He is using the Ram Air Box out of the back of the hot rod books. He ran 4" round ducting all the way to and through the grill! I wish I had a digital cam so I could post some pics.

    Try TPI performace.They specialize in 700r4s and build them for up to 550 torque. I have one in my z with a 2000 stall. Great custumer service also.

    If I run 3/8's line after the 5/16 fuel tank outlet all the way too the carb , am I gonna get fuel starvation? I have a Summit 111 gph electric pump that runs 16 psi. It is then regulated down to 6 psi. With that kind of fuel pressure I cant see it starving but who knbow? Oh, I have a 350 sbc making approx 400hp at the crank. Thanks Z YA

    BLK, I have ordered the 84-86 camaro radiator and have a 2 speed Tarus fan. I also bought the painless wiring fan switch that comes with a relay. Randy, When mine gets done that sounds sweet! I will keep ya posted. That showdown with my Dad's hybrid is gonna be fun

    What kind of x pipe does Muffler tech carry? Are they Dr Gas? Do you guys think and x pipe is an x pipe regardless of brand or type?

    I am always curious as to what some of you guys are running in your z's.     I say go for around 210-220 at .050. And around 460 lift. Should be good for up to 5500. Then go to TCI's saturday nite special converter that is 500-600 rpm looser than stock.

    I think i am going to bite the bullet and go for the x pipe. It looks like from what I have read to be the best. With the x pipe and my new spintechs this thing should sound MEAN!

    I already have an H pipe from an 01 vette but if the x pipe is that much more superior I will go that route. The exhaust is not in yet so I want to do it right the first time. Basically is it worth it if I already have a free H ?

    Thanks guys, I think I will go with the coilovers just so I can fine tune the ride height. Does anyone sell a complete bolt in coilover set up?

    I cant decide what to do. I plan on running 235/45/17's on 8's. I want the lowered look but dont want to give up rear suspension movement for launches at the strip. I want it to handle good but not so stiff that it wont hook hard off the line!

    OK, so then in lets say in my case , I should be making around 400hp or so and my hood is lovered . Do you think I will make more power with a 14x3 k/n with the extreme lid or the Ram Air set up in the back of the hot rod mags????

    Whats an approx price from a body shop to do work like that on flairs? Bodyshop guys????
