  1. Just paint it, and it will look great!
  2. You've got plenty of room with a -15 both front and rear with flares. You can even run that offset without flares. Search and you will see what I mean...
  3. Glad you like it;) Means alot, I have many hours into it now...
  4. Soon finished! Arizona Z suspension, Design Products camberplates, CCW Classics 16x9,5 et-10, Silver Mine Motors Stage 4 front & rear brakes to mention some of the upgrades.
  5. Didnt read the ad closely;) If it has the paperwork, why not. I know a guy here in Norway that bought a brand new Ford Sierra Cosworth back in 1988 or something, and that has lived all its life inside its garage. about 1000km on it. So its possible that someone just bought it and didnt drive it. If you're interested it's certainly worth checking out. It should look new in its original condition if it has that low mileage!
  6. Its easier to just change the odometer to another one or reset the old one. That's about an hour work. You can never be sure about milage and you should rather trust the condition it's in. You can set a brand new car outside by the ocean and it will have zero milage and become a piece of junk within years. If it really has that low milage, the seller should have paperwork that proves it, if it doesent you can conclude the car has driven 120500 and the car is worth 4-8000 considering its condition.
  7. More likely 120.500 miles. The counter zero's out at 100.000. You'll have to see a good service history/ owner history from the seller to verify his claim... You turn your caps lock off by pressing the caps lock button on your keyboard once...
  8. Just drive it carefully and you'll be fine!
  9. That guy is a member here... Don't know his name thoug, maybe someone else know?
  10. You can still get them through the group buy for $825. See the thread at "group buys" and email Kim (seller) at kimcosmic@juno.com.
  11. DO WANT! I hope we get new rules for building cars in Norway this year, and if we do, I'll purchase a chassi. 600kg car with a 400hp 3,2l stroker with tripple webers would be fun (or death trap)
  12. Because of too large calipers up front, so I had to run thicker centers;) If I wanted 4" front aswell I had to downgrade the brakes, and that's no alternative:P
  13. A lot of supercars have a similar system for getting over speedbumps installed by factory. Don't know how this is engineered though, if it relies on gravity it wouldn't really be good for your handling. My guess is a vaccum to hold it down, and a pressure to activate it. If it stays down no matter how much battering you give your car in turns and rough surfaces it would actually be a great product. Doesn't say anything about that though on his website... It's a good idea, since getting over high speedhumps is a challenge in a lowered car and it is incorporateable with existing quality coil overs. Looks like a bit of work and fabricating to get it to fit our Z's, but would like to know results and how it works if anybody installs it.
  14. Thanks, I'm looking forward to have her finished too! Not much left, but it takes time since it's my first shell-up car project and money and time is scarse because of collegetimes. It should be ready in 3-4 months. I'll take that shot when I get home from the holidays, but it's completely flush on top. The bottom sticks out of course because of the negative camber. I've had my hours calculating and measuring to get that to fit;)
  15. Can't wait to get my 280Z back on the road summer 2012;) CCW Classic 16x9,5 et -10 all around, 3,5" lip front, 4" lip rear. 225/45-16 BFGoodrich KDW2 tires. -3 degrees camber front and -1,5 rear. That's the widest and lowest offset possible you can go with no pulling or flaring of fenders and not having clearance issues, visacardfitment going on;) Just rolled the lip, camberplates and coilovers. The rims are completely flush with the fender. Going to mount AZcar LCA's to adjust the toe properly.
  16. Yep, your advice is great if he doesn't want to modify or running minor stretch. My setup clears the fenders when hitting bumps and you can get a visacard between tire/rim and fender. The track width decreases when you're that low and you can use that advantage to fit wide low offset wheels. It's not slam low, but usable DD low. See how it looks: http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/58528-wheel-show-post-your-pics-of-you-wheels/page__pid__973914__st__1460#entry973914
  17. I've fitted 16x9,5 -10 with 225/45-16 street slicks under no flared fenders in the rear on my 280z. That's the lowest offset and widest you can go, look up willtheyfit.com for comparison with the 15x9. You need camber plates (running about -2 degrees in the rear), coilovers, stretched tires and rolled fenders. So yes, the 15x9 -10 will fit in the rear.
  18. It's close to no clearance with the 16" ccw's. I guess it's up to how the inner barrel is designed. I've got a set of 16x9 -13 Watanabe and they seem to have better clearance than the CCW's. I guess casted 1 piece wheels have larger inner diameter than 3 piece...? My measurement is 173mm from hub center to top of caliper. That makes the total diameter 346mm and that equals to 13,63". If your inner barrels right behind the center (where the calipers will go) on the 15" is larger than that this kit would fit.
  19. Luseboy: You need a minimum of 16" wheels to fit this kit;) My 16x9,5 CCW classic barely clears this kit, the Rota RBR 17x9,5 clears it just fine.
