  1. No N head lying around. I have read that before, and he said it wouldn't be worth it for dished pistons. Maybe pistons and headwork? I can get the domed motorsport pistons for cost, or real close to it at least.
  2. yea then, that wouldn't be too hard. I could even use a satin clear coat over the whole thing if you wanted that finish.
  3. That has long been a dream of mine, 350z track wheels and brembos! Go for it.
  4. Norm,I've got a P90 and dished pistons, running NA. You think shaving is a more cost effective way than changing the pistons to motorsports pistons? I can get the set of those for around $350.
  5. Dang, wish I took pictures of my 350z seat install. You can try this. Take the sliders off the stock seats and run a nut/bolt through the middle to make them fixed, then temporarily mount them in the car. make 2 cross pieces out of steel. I used angle iron and bolted it all together, welding might have been a little nicer. Anyway, using the short studs on the sliders that used to go into the seat frame, mount the 2 cross pieces to the sliders making a square frame with overhangs on the sides. Then mount the s2k rails to those overhangs. clear as mud? Good Luck!
  6. thats a tough one, I have to think about the process for how to do that. Is the nissan polished, or just sanded to satin? I think it wouldn't be too much more work.
  7. I don't know, but when the 350 first came out, Lil Bow Wow bought one, but said it was for his dog.
  8. Its black with lime green accents to kind of match my car, then covered in a mirror clear coat. Finally getting things done in advance of Zdayz!
  9. his choices are, according to the EBC book: 84-89 4 cyl 90-91 4 92-95 4 95-2000 4 88-91 6 cyl 92-96 6 I know that I have 89s on my vented setup, and they are a different pad from what he listed. The ones he listed are for the 84-89 4 cyl.
  10. I've got the 89-91 vented rotors myself, on the s12w calipers.
  11. That should be. I don't know what price you have found, but I can get them for $62, shipped.
  12. I had CRX seats in my last 240. I didn't care for having to swap them side to side to fit, but I like these better. Keeps the lineage!
  13. The Z seats mount lower than the plastic racing seat I had on the drivers side, and the same, if not lower than the stock passenger seat, and that is with 3 of the plastic spacers in the rear and (one spacer up front on the passenger side only), as the drivers side has a height adjuster. As far as leg room, It would be about the same also. I'm limited in how far back they go by contact with the roll bar. Overall, the seat itself is the same width, height and thickness as the original seats.
  14. I'm 5'7. With a helmet on before, I had to slouch to keep from hitting the roof. (that was with a plastic racing shell installed though). Now I've got a lot of headroom, even with helmet. Might have lost a tiny bit of legroom, but I'm not sure about that. Its not a problem for me
  15. Finally finished up and got the other one in!
  16. I'm going, but this is a year of firsts for me. first as a sponsor www.thepowdercoater.com first without a 350z and first with a 240z
  17. was that you that lost it in the tunnel with those other cars on a run? I think Matthew hit you if it was you?
  18. there will be 200+ z cars there the weekend of May 19-21 www.zdayzevents.com oh yeah, its US Hwy 129 on the Tennessee / North Carolina border, to be specific.
