  1. no, its in the back corner of my garage, on the pallet and behind an oak entertainment cabinet. The 240 fits nicely in front of it with room to move around still. Here are a couple pics. Its a true 5hp motor, 60 gallon Eaton compressor. Runs at 800 rpm, fills the tank in 4.5 minutes from empty and puts out 17 cfm free air at 175psi.
  2. What he said! It cost me $850 to get my air compressor wired in today. I was expecting around $350 or so. Most of that was for the wire, as I had it on the opposite corner of the garage than the breaker box, and its a 3.5 car garage. they didn't break it down, but basically they converted to breakers to half size breakers to make a spot installed a 40 amp breaker ran conduit and wire, about 60' probably wired the compressor. It sure is nice not having that tiny campbell hausfield noisy thing anymore though!
  3. fortunately for bj, this is not a street machine.
  4. I read an editorial in a car mag several years ago advocating the use of a 'responsibility spike' It would be a big steel spike attached to the front of every windshield right at forehead level, sticking in. The author did acknowledge that it wouldn't make everyone a responsible driver, but it would weed the irresponsible ones out fairly quickly.
  5. I guess mine would be 350z seats tiny 205/50-15 tires L28ET engine, but with SU carbs and no turbo.
  6. That would be a good choice. Mine isn't a pain in traffic at all. I can't believe he is selling already though.
  7. daily driver, and not track car? I would want fast and comfy, and easy in stop and go traffic. M45 CTS-V C6
  8. Dave, is the subscriber switchover automatic, or do we have to opt in?
  9. I caught this one at a local show at Year One a couple months ago. You can use your imagination for the parts not pictured, and your imagination probably won't do it justice!
  10. but someone might be interested. Ls6 engine, clutch, ac, driveshaft... 200 miles on engine out of 02 GMMG ZL1 #51. Radiator, gas tank, frt. end parts, etc. the only part of the drive train we used was the bell housing, I think. All at LWA. E-mail or PM for price. I think it's about $5,500 for all. 11. you could do that, I've powdercoated the ends of a few intercoolers for 350Z vortech setups, or you could get radiator paint from eastwood and do it yourself. http://eastwood.resultspage.com/search?p=Q&ts=custom&w=radiator+paint
  12. The 300C, Magnum and Charger R/T all do this also.
  13. not watching it, but it sounds like Francis from Stripes.

I think you have found a new home! Welcome!
  15. Auto parts, but mostly corvette calipers. I've got 10 sets of C5 and C6 brakes that I do on exchange and a waiting list of about 50+ people at any given time, plus there are some vette owners who can actually take their brakes off themselves and send them to me to be done, which is usually 1 or 2 sets per week also. Most need the exchange though, as they have neither the time nor experience to do their own work, but do have plenty of money to spare. There are a couple other shops that sell PC'd brakes for the vette on exchange, but they only offer basic colors and limited service. I go out of the way to provide a top notch product at about 1/2 the cost.
  16. I fly around 80 hours per month with Delta, which equals being gone for 5-6 3 day trips per month, with 10-11 hour work days (we only get paid for time in the air, and not actual time at work), plus 30-40 hours per week powdercoating.
  17. I bought a new, unused CFDF from DemonZ tonight with a stock resurfaced flywheel. Will probably still get a lightweight one, but the deal with him was great, and the clutch should do fine with my NA.
