  1. I got some about a month ago. They don't lay right on the car, but have to be bent around the form of the fender. They actually are a pretty good quality, once you figure them out.
  2. so was that really the first start when you pushed that button??? That thing hardly cranked at all... awesome job.
  3. do a search for her posts, she has done some amazing things! Looking good chelle!
  4. I've also had the ziex and the ecstas. ziex on a lowered blazer and ecstas on the 3 series bmw. for street driving, they are all ok, but for any track or autocross work, you don't want either of them.
  5. oh yeah, I put one of bjhines' wheels on my rear and I had about 4.5 fingers clearance to the wheel well (flares are on but fenders aren't rolled or cut yet), and his tires definitely would have rubbed when suspension bottomed out.
  6. yea, that was my friend who was in the 350. Its a dedicated track car. If you notice, the vette never lets up to help him pass at all, even shifts into 4 as the guy is passing him. If you are gonna wave someone by, you should let up a little. I think both cars had a portion of the blame. He had the car roadworthy at 11pm that night, but had flat spotted all 4 tires so couldn't drive it sunday.
  7. Cruez, I don't know if you've tried this, but its candy black over chrome from columbia.
  8. at least in georgia, you can only plead nolo once every 5 years. The only thing it does here, is avoids points for that offense on your motor vehicle record. It will still be reported though, and your insurance will still see the conviction. If texas works the same way, you are better not using it, unless the points will get your license suspended. Save it in case you ever really need it. What I recently did in GA, was went to court, and before the case was heard, asked to speak to the solicitor. My record was clean, and I asked him to reduce it to something that wouldn't affect my insurance. He dropped it down to 14 over, and told me their city didn't report anything under 15. $100 fine and $75 driving school for him to do this though. My original ticket was for 79/55.
  9. at 31k it would be a steal, but they must have screwed that up! Still, might be a good deal at 44 though.
  10. I think he has changed direction because his suspension still works, but engine doesn't
  11. spa makes dual digital gauges. they might fit
  12. can't comment on the mufflers, but you won't find a more conscientious and fair priced vendor than GSC. Nothing but good results with them.
  13. I'm more concerned with coating an interior that has already been coated. In 1995 I used SEM products to turn my last 240z's interior from black to tan, and it held up pretty good for the 4 years that I owned it afterwards, just a few small areas where the black showed through.
  14. first step is to get the JTR book. www.jagsthatrun.com , It will give you a wealth of info.
  15. I was referring to the vinyl interior of our cars.
  16. if one wanted to switch from carbs to fi (fuel injection, not forced induction), what else would be needed? new wiring harness and computer plus injectors and tb, obvisouly, but what else?
  17. a previous owner at some point dyed my butterscotch interior a different shade of tan. Do you think I could redye it again, this time black or gray?
