Man, i wish i had a DVD recorder but they cost too much. All i have is a VCD recorder and each cd only holds 79 minutes. And not a lot of DVD players can play VCD's only the cheap Apex players like the one i bought for $50 does it.

With costs of the engine set aside, will the engine fit the early Z's? Like i said the number of wrecked Z's are increasing everyday. I'm pretty sure the cost will come down.

Some of the pictures are too dark but from what i can see they look good. Take some more pictures in the sunlight or something, i would like to see more details.

As far as i know to make an engine swap legal, the basics would be as follows. 1- you have to get an engine the same year or newer. Meaning 90 and above not 89 and below. 2- you have to transfer all the emmissions from the other donor to the car you're putting it into. 3- follow whatever local state regulation you have. Its a little different for each state. There maybe more but this is just the few basic stuff i know of.

Since the 350Z just came out a lot of people have totaled and unfortunately for them wrecked it already. Anyone contemplate swapping the 3.5 in the early Z? Also GReddy is showing off a 350Z with their turbo kit at the SEMA show. Heres a link to a pic GReddy 350Z Turbo

Hey Ross, Try RXP, it's an emissions reducer and negates oxygenated gas so you have complete burn of the gas. Im not affiliated with them but i have used their product.. A LOT! You can buy these at Autozone or O'Reilly/HI/LO. Although i dont know if they have it there in Canada. Here's the link RXP

It's amazing what kids think are fast today. When i was buying plugs for my Z at Autozone and gave him a sample Nippon Denso plug (or was it NGK?) for reference, he came back with only four. I said it was for a 280 Z car, i need two more. He goes 'you do?' Then an older gentleman wearing the white shirt(presumably the manager of the month) came out smiling and handed me two more and told the kid "280Z's have a 6 cyl engine, you know a real engine instead of that CRX you drive" I just smiled and got my stuff and left. Mind you the kid had a nice CRX, but all he was talking about were "MODS" like intake and exhaust. Nothing internal like hotter cams or different heads, better pistons or a Tornado (just kidding!) To each his own i guess, till they get thumped on and get shown a new reality. (it's about as bad as the time i was asking this kid for a replacement Quadrajet at O'Reily's Hi/Lo and he didnt know that it was a carb.)

Well mine might be done in a couple of months. But mine will be equipped with either an LT-1 with an auto tranny or a Pontiac 400 set up with racing slicks. can't decide yet I have to watch the budget . Yes i have a life but you can only watch so much tv sitting at the back of a laundrymat making sure nobody hauls off a dryer and washer for their christmas gift. They already took one of my electric fans on Christmas day, so someone had a lint filled fan for Christmas that year. Thats the reason we close on Christmas from then on.

If you dont have the facilities to do the conversion yourself, buying one would be cheaper for you. There were a couple of good bargains here a couple of weeks ago all under $5k. Yeah, i was just wondering because most, if not all the air bag suspension stuff ive seen. The air bag is as big as the original spring. I mean the circumference of the spring.

Hypothetically, do you think that wider wheels could be used like in the case when coilovers are used? Or would the bags be a little too fat?

You can put any seat you want in anything, the question is how much work do you want to do? You will have to adapt whatever seat you want to the camaro seat trac. Ive seen 89 Honda Civic seats adapted to a 69 GMC truck. good luck

I may have to order one here They dont carry it. By the way my model is smaller than yours (1/32) so technically it has no engine. Unless i can rip off the Warp nacelles of my brothers starship Enterprise model.

1000lb is more than enough, although the legs on the 2000lb model are safer.
