Well, i had a Toyota fall on me once, Oh What a Feeling!

I changed my A/C from R12 to 134 with no problems on a 78 Skylark with stock hoses. All you really have to be careful of is to flush the system thoroughly of the old crud and stuff. The only reason why i converted is because my compressor crapped out and i took it as an opportunity to change over. Also make sure you use the silicone O-rings that are sometimes provided when changing over. When time came to vacuum and charge the system, i went to the professional and he only put in 80% charge and it cooled great, he charged me only $35 to vacuum and charge it (i supply the 134). If you are going to do this on a Z the pro's recommend changing the condenser to a larger one since the 134 does create more heat.

Which coolant do you use in your Z's Standard Green anti-freeze or the "Kool Aid" extended life used on the newer cars.

Wow just today my stock in the 'Bondo' company went up.

Well the other day i merged onto another street and was doing 45 on a 35 and just happen to glance over Mc D's and there was a cop waiting to exit. I got lucky though he didnt even flinch, although i hear ( in Irving anyway) that if its 11 over the limit they get you.

Why do people do that these days? I've personally seen three hit and runs and I made sure that i jotted down the plates and get a good description of the driver. Actually it was 4 but the first one i could not identify the driver and they got away, at least they filed on the owner of the car. After that i made sure to note who was driving. It just burns me up when they run. :flamedevil:

My 3 year old daily driver fell victim to last Saturday nights storm in the DFW area. Golf ball size hail fell down and i have some "light" damage to it. The insurance just cut me a check and told me that is what the paintless dent repair people will charge to fix it. Anyone here have any experience with this? There are just two big dents on it, one on the hood and roof the rest is minor stuff. Should i just wait till the paint gets lousier and just bondo it in the future. ( some guy polished it before and i noticed metallic flakes coming off) I've never had PDR done before and ive heard of other dissatisfied people with it. Should i just keep the check? Let me know what your experiences are.

Just make sure you keep an eye on the tire, it might de-ply in the future because the steel belts may have been compromised. You'll eventually feel the car shaking....kinda like doing the lambada on the road. Then you can actually see or feel the tire have a slight S curve.
