I was just curious Mike, do they require you to have a fire proof cabinet like the ones auto paint and body shops use for their paint and chemicals?

In our area if your car came with a cat you have to have it on the car. But since most Z did not come with one dont worry about it. Also since your car is a 77 you only need to do a safety inspection, no emissions needed. Any car 25 years old or older (78-older77,76,75 etc...) requires only the safety. 2-24 years requires emissions testing. 95 and below requires the treadmill and 96 and above with the OBDII system just requires them to plug into your car and see if all is well. Why they dont check the actual emissions on the OBDII i dont know. (O2 sims can easily be installed) If your worried that they will check underneath your car for a cat, you have a better chance winning the Texas Lottery. It depends on what you want, do you want to build your own engine or do you want a crate engine from GM? If crate engine is your answer the ZZ4 355hp engine costs around $3500 from select dealers. Cheapest set up is to get the whole complete donor car, like a wrecked camaro and transfer everything, but your not certain on how old and HP on it.

First weigh yourself, make note of the weight. Then right away go get the hood and weigh yourself again and take the difference. No stopping off and taking a crap or having a few brews, or shooting the pesky cat sleeping on top of your patrol car. It might upset actual accurate measurement. The only thing is how are you going to look down on the scale with the hood infront of you while your holding it.

Can you get a scale and weigh the darn thing? I'm curious to see what the actual weight is.

So how often does she complain? Relationships are a two way street, it sounds like her side is under construction. It sounds like your more in love with her than she is with you. Your reasons for sticking with her seems to be time invested and "where am i going to live", do you really wanna suffer like that? Since your living at her house she can always dump you first since she thinks she has the upper hand. I know this may sound like a crude or even rude reply, but i'm hoping its just another angle on your situation. But think about it, if she's having that much fun with someone else with you in the same room, think of how much more fun she'll have without you in the room. I hope you make the right decision.

Actually i just like looking at new pictures of your car, it really wasnt that bad.

I cant see it it's kinda dark. Maybe if you take some pictures in the sunlight we can see more details. But from what i can see the car looks good.
