  2. qwik240z, I had the same problem, the front centercaps did not fit. I might give MSA a call and see if I can get some of the Z centercaps they sell for there rewinds.
  3. Also Cody, I noticed on your website you adapted 84' z31 rotors on the rear do yoiu have any extra info on that?
  4. I already unstuck the cable but it keeps getting stuck I think, I am not sure. I am learning as I go but I am not very good at this stuff yet, I am only 16 and this is my first car. I apreciate the help, The front brakes are decent so I might leave those alone untill the snow hits and I do all my other work. The rear calipers seem to be wearing evenly so they should be fine. If I just get some hipo rotors and pads and then later get the Arizona Z car kit will the brake bias be uneven, I know the fronts do most of the work anyways?? Also has anyone seen those rotors on Ebay for cheap, They look pretty good, especially for the price.
  5. Also if you are having trouble finding the ECU go to www.Z31.com and post in the wanted section , you will get a million responses.
  6. From what I understand you can use a 88'-89' NA ECU but you have to reprogram it. I think that is the best way to go actually.
  7. Do you sell those down pipes? I will buy it right now, I am desperate! I just realized that those are the ones on MSA. Those look great, I am not saying anything bad but some one had said there was a defect with those?? Is there any truth to that? Thanks
  8. Hey, thanks for getting back to me so soon. I was wondering why that kit was so much cheaper then arizona Zcar, I didn't look at it good enough. I probably don't have enough money for that right now. Would it make more sense to go with just some performance rotors and pads? Are there any brands you can recomend? And yes I meant cable not hose, I was thinking of something else at the time. And I am not sure what JY is?? Thanks for responding, Rob
  9. I just got my car back from being painted and it has been running great. Untill recently the talking lady in the car has been telling me that my E-brake is on all the time. So I put it on a lift and took a look, the right side was stuck to I just pried it open. It looks like I also need all new brakes. Looks like my new intercooler is going to have to wait. The problem is I haven't been able to find to many aplications for the 280ZX.   11. I have finally got my car back from paint and I was putting on my new Moroso plug wires on my 1983 280zxTurbo. I got sidetracted and messed up the order of the wires. I don't have a manual so does any one have any suggestions? I kind of need to drive it to work in a few hours so I waskind of hoping to get it going. Thanks for the help in advance, Rob

  13. I was just noticing how completely useless the stock tack is on the digital dash and decided it was time to get something else. It goes from 1k to 2k to 3k to 5k and redlines at 6k, when ever I hit the gas it has a delayed reaction. I was just going to get a simple autometer tach but I would like the shift light option. I know it may look kind of ricer like all the big tachs on the civics but I need it for function. Also does anyone know what size boost gauge to get that will fit in the stock slot for a 280zx?   18. Bernardd, Thank you for replying, I had read that you could reprogram z31 ecu's, how much do you charge? That may be the easiest way to go. But that means I would now have to get an 88-89T ECU. I am not sure what is needed to make that ECU fit and I can't seem to find any. I know I need to change something with the 02 sensor and get dropping resistors but is there anything else? Were would I find an ECU from those years I can't find them anywere? Thanks Rob
  19. With the Z31 ECU and the greddy E-manage do you think I will be able to reach my long term goal of around 300whp? Or am I stupid to expect that much power? Eventually I just want a car that runs high 12's to low 13's in the 1/4 . But for now I would be happy being anywhere close to running in the 13's or 14's. So basically I am just trying to get to that point as easily as posible. Thank you guys for all of the help, Rob oh yah, Battle pope- Is that your car? That is awesome looking!

  21. I know it's not as good but it does have a lot of the same features of a stand alone. I have already gotten a 85T ecu+MAF, which seems easy enough to swap even for me. For the install of the e-manage, does anyone know how easy that will be. If it is easy enough I might just install it myself and then have the shop tune it for me.

  23. I know I sould be able to tune my own car but if I get MS don't I still have to go to a dyno to finish tuning it?
