I would just rebuild that motor and find a new tranny. Missing the ECU and stuff isnt a big deal, just go with Megasquirt and it won't be a problem. And as far as the DP, if your looking for more power the stock one is useless anyways. PeteZ on this site sells 2.5inch SS dp's. And 300whp is easy, with good tuning with something like MS it can be done with the stock turbo. But if your rebuilding that motor now you mine as well just go with a bigger turbo now since you don't know how many miles are on the old one.

Wow!! JFairladyZ over at Zdriver is making body parts for the S130's, maybe you could talk to him. I usually like stuff that is more old school but that looks awesome.

What are you using for a shifter, I just got a B&M for a 5.0 but I haven't had time to install it yet.

I have the same setup pretty much but I have never dynoed it. If I were you I wouldn't run more then 12psi

Awesome numbers, that gives me hope because I plan to have a similiar setup this spring/summer. How much tourqe did it have?

I am not good with computers. I searched for that VLC thing and came up with a website, it was like videolan.org or something and now it says I have to pick a version to down load, it gives me options for different countries?? I couldn't find the one for our cars?? The only choice is for an 84-86 280z?? I am going to take a wild guess and say there talking about the Z31 and not a 280z but I can't tell becasue there are no pics.

well that is about the same size as the ZX so I don't see why it wouldn't fit? Were would I get one of those bobcat spoilers? And do you happen to have any pics of it? Thanks alot for the help, Rob

He said you could run that much boost with the right engine setup. But I can't see that happening with out an intercooler or alcholhol or something.

I think that spoiler is exactly what the S130 needs to make it look good. 260det- Thanks for measuring that for me. I just measured my hatch and it is 1,092 mm wide so I don't know how well that would fit, or is it suppose to go past the hatch? It seems like it would be hanging over the sides. But I have looked at a few spoilers like the 432 style and BRE for the 240z and they look like they would work also. Maybe some one with more experience in this kind of stuff could help out?? I am NOT very good with body work and that kind of stuff. Thanks Rob

260det- Thanks for posting that site, I have seen that on in MSA and I think VB has something similiar but it is a little different, it goes out past the hatch lid more. The cars in the following pictures have the kind of spoiler I am talking about. I also like the side skirts on that first car. It looks similiar to one of those 240z spoilers, so I am guessing if I can find the dimensions of one of those and figure out were to get one I might be able to get it to fit. If any one has any suggestions on that I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks Rob

I asked the same question on Z driver, but I was wondering if any of you know were to get or make a spoiler like the second to last one that Hypertek posted. It kind of looks like one of a 240z. I have seen several s130's from Japan with that spoiler on www.s130.net . Thanks Rob

The only manifold I have seen is the one from lonewolf and then a few custom ones. I am not very knowledgable but I think with your current setup you won't see much power increased with an aftermarket intake manifold, but it would definately look cool. Rob

I just ordered it so I couldn't tell you about the quality but a few other people at ZDRIVER did the same thing and it worked great for them.

I finally finished most all of my other projects and there is just one thing left before it is done, a stupid Ebrake cable(the cable that comes of the calipers). So far I have gone to every place possible to get one and no luck, VIP, AutoZone, napa, carquest and tire warehouse. The only place that had one was the Nissan dealership but they wanted $160! Tire warehouse had it on there computer for $50 but they said they can no longer get them. I have also checked junk yards and the only 280zx I found was a 79' that had like 300,000 miles on it was rusted to crap so I didn't really want that cable. If anyone has one or knows were to get one I would greatly apreciate it. Thanks in advance, Rob

It's the same thing up here in Maine, we have already had some light snow. I am getting pretty sad, it looks like it's almost time to put her away for the year.

Hi, I have just finsished installing my NPR intercooler and I have my HKS bov installed right before the TB on the Cold charge pipes, I was just unsure of where the best place is to pick up vaccum for the BOV? Maybe if someone had a pic? I also was wondering if I should recurculate the BOV. I had heard from several people that with the SSQV you don't need to?? Any help would be apreciated.
