If you intall a 240sx throttle body you really need to have the supporting mods for it to do anything. At the very least you have to port match your intake manifold to the new throttle body. I fyou looking for one, my friend happens to be selling one

Alex, Thanks for getting back to me. Thats the exact advice I was looking for. And those were my thoughts exactly, Ill be making decent money right of school and plus your generally working on nice newer cars. I would never have to worry about finding a job, because if they invest all that money into somone they are going to make sure that they are working. Thanks again Rob

I am now a Junior in high school and have recently started an automotive vocational program. Within the next two years I will be going off to some type of technical school. My preference is UTI or maybe even Ohio Tech College. I am very interested in the BMW STEP program; I like the idea of getting out of school and going right to work on BMW's. I know they very selective of who gets to go into the program, which is something I am a little worried about. I just figured with all the members on this site there has got to be at least a few people who have gone through any of these courses or anything similar. I know for a fact that a few members here have attended UTI, so just wondering what you though about the school and it’s courses. And advice would be greatly appreciated Thank you, Rob

I actually just started an automotive program at my high school(im only a junior) and we actually have a large selection tools, we have a bunch of specalty tools, any air tool imaginable, buch of nice lifts... But Im not sure Ill be bringing my car in any time soon, atleast not with the tools(refering to the students) in my class. Today they tried jacking a car up off the back bumper. And if thats not bad enough they put a huge hole through the oil pan with the jack!!! all this on a science teacher's newer volvo!!!

Wow do I feel stupid... In the Megatune configurator I had it setup for MSNS extra but didnt have the extra firmware. And now I know how to load in the Extra code firmware after reading this... http://www.diyautotune.com/faq/troubleshooting_megasquirt_communications.htm#ms1flash ALl the guides on the MS website were a little to confusing but that was easy to read. Metro, thank you, I will try that tomorrow, I have one more question on my ECU below the hook up for the wiring harness, there is some kind of hole with a plug looking thing in it(I know, great description). Does anyone know what this is? Thanks Rob
