fenders need to be rolled more for my drop... ZG flares are in the works as of now
  3. try bleeding the clutch line since you say it was low. There is probably air in the line still.
  4. it sounds similar to mine and im running a .490 lift 290/290 duration.
  5. 336 is the widest i believe you can go... but with an N/A motor you'd want closer gear ratios to keep the drivetrain in the power band of the motor. When i had a stock L28 in my z, swapping from a 3.5 to a 4.11 made the whole car completely different in its attitude and acceleration.
  6. why dont you swap in a 3.9 , 4.11, or 4.3 rear end to accompany your 5 speed? (assuming you are still running 3.36 according to your cardomain). It might give you that pep that you are looking for...
  7. i played it and wasnt too fond of it... im a gran turismo fanatic so to play something other than that always felt akward. Your right about the tuning aspect of the game, its a lot of fun to have a 240z with an rb26dett but still run stock 175mm width tires:x
  8. i think hes just talking about an OS Giken head:icon10:
  9. i personally think your better off reliably to buy a crate sr20 and replace the necessities (headgasket, waterpump, etc)... Stock an sr20 is pretty stout.
  10. if its an n36 or n33 manifold for dual sus...ill take it

  12. there is a zcar in the movie herby:fully loaded. Its in the scene where the vw bug is in the destruction derby. The zcar was one of the cars aiming to destroy the vdub.
  13. i used Gran Sports (Ceramic Carbon) and they're awesome:lol:
  14. Hey guys, ive been having this problem since i installed my N42 head (schneider stage 4 cam). When ever i would brake, my pedal would sometimes be very stiff and very hard to stop. I have 88' toyota 4x4's up front with the stock drums in the back. This setup has worked wonderfully up until this point. I have been searching some old treads and have come up on a possibility that my master cylinder maybe failing. Any suggestions would be helpful, thank you. - Jon
  15. SEARCH NEWBIE.... j/p jake... its jon btw... you should be good up to 300 on that setup, any more then the piston skirts start to fall apart
  16. do you have the injector notches made on the l24 head? If not the injectors could just be shooting fuel at an alluminum wall:ugg:
  17. if your interested, i have a set of BFG G-Force T/A KDWS 225/50zr16 for sale. They're brand new and just sitting in the garage. I was going to use them on my civic but ended up selling it to make room for my sisters car. Let me know if you want em. Ill get rid of them for 400
  18. i dont see why not, the reason why he recommended shimming the valve springs was so the geometry doesnt need to be touched. Since your just making up the difference using valve lash pads it should do the exact same thing. Im just stating what seems logical to me, perhaps the veterans of the site will pitch in some knowledge on this subject.
  19. but that wouldnt explain the erratic tachometer... im looking to lock my distributor with some jb weld or epoxy... i know theres a thread about it but i will try to take as many pictures of the process as possible because that thread is hard to follow without pictures.
