  1. I have contacted the Maryland Historical Society and a couple collectors.
  2. Yasin, Yes that is the real deal. It's a Stewart Warner gauge. 6 SW gauges were part of the GNX package, you can see the SW writing on the gauge. Most GN/GNX boost gauges were swapped out for a more reliable gauge, the stock read 30hg-15psi (more vacuum less boost) Here is to tell if it's a real GNX:http://home.att.net/~buickGNX/GNX/cosm.htm Here is the registry:http://www.gnregistry.org/resources.htm Note: #359 is not on there. There are a few others on there with 9 miles too. Not bad for only 547 GNX produced.
  3. $1500 will get you started. It will nickel and dime you trust me.
  4. Actually when I hit the lottery too. Bike didn't sell bad time of year
  5. 9 miles NEVER TITLED!!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180181190396&ssPageName=ADME:B:EF:MOTORS:1123
  6. 99.999% sure. Civil and Revolutionary War came right up through Point Look Out Maryland which is close to where I live so who knows... Thanks for the tip I am sending off an email.
  7. Nope. This sucker has to weigh over 120lbs easy though.
  8. Holy Mother of Pearl!! Fantastic job Wayne:2thumbs: One request and I speak for the whole board: Start up video please when ready??
  9. I am saying why not do it. I love them all, big turbos small turbos. I was just commenting on how does the hood close. Maybe I missed the gigantic opening for the turbo. Or they could have stuffed it in and ran it on the dyno without modifying the hood.
  10. or anyone can appreciate a huge turbo. I say why not others say why? Look at the size of this turbo:eek2: It would be nice to close the hood http://www.tmrmp3.com/bullseyepower/95mmsupra.wmv Found it here too: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2e6abcc3-6a2c-4468-80a8-36af4dd0584e.htm Specs: Borg Warner S595 T-6 1.15 A/R ~1200-1500 whp~
  11. Hey all, I found a 10" solid shot cannonball in my back yard. This sucker is heavy!! My girlfriend's dad is USAF retired EOD, he came over and he didn't find a fuse or fuse block. I emailed a few "collectors" from this site and no dice. Should I stick it on Ebay or are there any collectors on the board? More pics: http://www.putfile.com/240ztt/images/158649
  12. Mull, I have never used any of the prep products. I have always just applied it. If you have cans standing around with NO lids on them it should be hard as a rock and useless. If you can't stir it with a paint stick throw them away and start fresh. You can use my tip below for the new cans. Someone else suggested to flip the can over so the skin will be on the bottom of the can vise the top. Good Idea!! Here are some FAQ from POR-15 site Good luck!
  13. Phil, +1 on the turbo timer. Especially if you are out running the Z hard ya need to cool those bearings down. It's a cheap investment that will add life to that rebuilt Holset. I am a Blitz guy have there gauges and timer, none are in my Z at the moment but I have used them in the past. I had this same one on my Shiro. It's small enough I could tuck it inside the ash tray out of site. It measured my coolant temp as well the timer. You can set it for 1,3,5 and 10 minutes. On my Shiro it would sense how hot the motor was and if I did a short trip to the store it would run for a minute and if I was out running it hard it would run for longer. It has a kill switch built in and a single wire ties into the e-brake. If the e-brake handle drops the motor dies.
  14. California, Maryland so says my signature. You are from the state of California? If so, it's not that far to come out and get her or have her shipped.
  15. http://zhome.com/History/Zproduction.html
  16. Yea man I know. I will never sell the Z. Just a little over a day left I can't believe no bids but I did have some strange questions though.
  17. I take a plastic bag, cut it to hang over the top of the can. Put the bag on the opening and attach the lid on top. It makes it so you can take the lid off easier and will give you about a week. Plus you might have to stir or shake it before you take the lid off
  18. I love POR-15!! As far as your other rust if it's surface, knock the scale off close to smooth and POR-15 over it. I have never taken my parts down to bare metal before applying POR-15. You can also put POR-15 in a spray gun and paint it on whatever pieces you want. I POR-15 my floors, trapezoids, frame rails and rockers. Any new sheet metal you put on you should POR-15 the insides before you install it. I would paint the inside of the Bad Dog frame rails with the POR-15 before you install them. I went the expensive route and powder coated everything bolted underneath. Before: After: Good Luck!!
  19. Me? No I don't live in Richmond still in Southern Maryland thanks to the good ol' military. Add $11,000 to that $3500 and you have yourself a winner! Thanks!!
  20. Huh? I purchased Austin's (240hoke) old SDS that he had in his 240Z when the L-gata was in there. I was letting him know it's still in the box that he mailed it to me in because I haven't had the time to install it yet.
  21. Thanks everyone for the compliments!! Your right JSM I am NOT selling the Z!! It's hard to juggle both hobbies. BTW Austin the SDS is still sitting in the box doh... Again please pass the word and wish me luck!! 8 watchers already Thanks,
  22. Much fabrication blood sweat and tears went into this build. Unfortunately I can't have 2 hobbies. Please pass the word one hell of a deal for someone: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160181548680 Thanks,
  23. Terry, Thanks for sharing if you can put it up in the downloads section that would be great if not I would upload it to like putfile or somewhere that takes .pdf then share the link in the downloads section.
