  1. agreed, this is also something that is constantly being brought up on the third gen camaro forums. You can have a T5 built to take power but in the end it will trump the cost of a TKO and will only be as strong if not just a bit stronger than the TKO.
  2. what intake are you goin to be putting on it, rsicard?
  3. yea, thanks, my buddy and I have been searching ebay all day and night. Also searched car part. oh well. I will wait!
  4. Ugh, I just went thru my entire garage and no, I don't have my engine bay harness either. i can't seem to find one on ebay. What search did you put in to find it?
  5. HA! I could have sworn I looked those templates over and didn't see the serial data connection. thanks man. I really appreciate it!
  6. I just found this, again... lol http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/312119-ls1-swap-faqs.html which wire goes to the diagnostic plug
  7. so basically if its not connected to C100 C101 C105 C220 C230 I don't need it? Thats all it takes? Sorry man, I am really just lookin for a how to, here.
  8. wait, I am confused, this is what harness? Its the harness that ties the engine to the chassis? I was under the impression that all was needed from the car was ignition once the stock engine harness was re-worked.
  9. lookin good man! I can't wait to see the completion of this. So the mounts are 100% fabricated, eh? Ever think of building a few of them and selling them to the masses? whats up with the wood laying on the ground in that one pic? Was it a roof or something?
  10. lol, was that sarcasm or were you talkin about the front?
  11. Hp is overrated. What's the peak torque and where at? Matter a fact, why don't you scan the dyno sheet so we can see the curves. What did the a/f's look like? What was the temp and humidity? Intercooled? Was there a fan on it?
  12. I'm lazy and have made no progress. I keep on throwing money into other things... it stares at me everytime I go into the garage tho! lol
  13. the only thing I see wrong in the engine bay (other than the lack of a v8 or a turbo setup, lol) is that oil filler cap! The car really came together nicely! Congrats!
  14. agreed! lol thats pretty sick bro, whats in that thing?
  15. where can one get an entire bushing kit? Is there such a thing or do you have to order this one then that one then.... ya get me?
  16. so how do you intend on figuring out how much fuel is left in your tank?
  17. I love the way they look, their odometer, and shift light! I like how you can send them a logo and have them plaster it on there as well. Now if they just made dual gauges! BAH!
  18. I thought the gauge pods were 5 inch? Am I wrong or did you find something to cone into the 4 inch gauges? They do look really good btw!
  19. the first thing I thought when I saw them is "those are pretty lame" I totally agree with you bro!
  20. Agreed, that 60ft is shattering your life. Maybe if you let go of your tire pressure a bit, it would grab a lil better. You said you still need to tune it? Wow, should be in the elevens in no time. Is it me or does that cam not seem all that aggressive? I am new to the whole cam thing, so forgive my ignorance. The cars I am used to playing with had limited aftermarket and only 1 or 2 sets of cams available.
  21. I stand corrected! That's quite a few gauges for such a small area! They seem to have duals but don't have any pics. I wonder if they would put a shift light into a tach...
  22. so politically correct! smart man! sorry, I've got nothin for you. I did over torque my clutch bolts once, read the inches as lbs, don't ask, no I didn't keep going till they snapped. It didn't do anything substancial, just backed them out a lil and torqued them to the proper setting. Its been a over a year and no issues and they are constantly spinning. Different beast I know, but similar idea.
