  1. bahahahaha! i was hoping you were kidding! that was kinda gross! I just figured you would drill thru the old paint then get a new paint job, tho if the existing paint is fine then there is really no point I see where you are coming from How hard is it to see thru the mirrors on the fenders? Looks like it would be a pain
  2. why is that? is it right on the body line?
  3. 100 bucks? are you serious? Hell, you could probably just go into the projects and find it urself and almost buy it back! This guy has gotta be so tweaked he wouldn't even realize who you were...
  4. I honestly think Nissan/Datsun (whatever) did a great job and its really hard to tell the difference
  5. ummmm.... yea.... I am talkin about the brake booster actually... sorry. I am a lil screwed up from the idea of wiring the LS1... kinda freaked and can't really find much info that makes sense to me... lol, sorry guys.
  6. congrats man! Looks like a pretty sweet setup, is that full arizona z suspension or just the camber kit? Whats up with all the welds? Rust or something for the roll cage?
  7. I discord... this is the only whale tail I would get
  8. what about the ignition/starting/key and the fuel system? What gets done with that?
  9. wait, so if I already took the reserviors off with the bracket, the rest of it should just slide off along with it? So its just stuck from 30yrs of sitting there?
  10. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_JZ_engine there you go! BTW, thats gonna be sooooooo sick!
  11. gawd this sounds like a stupid question but I have never removed one before and I have no idea how I am supposed to get the damn thing off. I imagine I gotta rip thru the back of the firewall? I really don't know... I took the reservoirs off already
  12. what the hell is wrong with the 2+2 design??? I don't get it...
  13. wow man, definitely keep us updated! I couldn't imagine how that feels.
  14. IDK, my step dad has been running stock rods, not so sure about the crank, in his race truck which is an 80 chevy pickup for over 10 years (same stock rods) and runs consistant mid 12s. In a car we believe its good for at least a mid-high 11 second run. At the tree he revs the motor up to about 7K before dumping the clutch, he was also told that his bog warner tranny would never hold up to that... never had a problem with it. I'm not saying they are bullet proof and I was quite surprised to learn that they were stock but hey, whatever works.
  15. I proabably asked this already but where are you guys getting your interior pieces? I need to get all new interior. EVERYTHING. Everything that I have is tan and its got to go! I want it all black! thanks!
  16. doesn't look like it affected the hood at all on the outside... thats good! what hood is that and where did you get it?
  17. wow..... I would have asked about an LS2 while I was there. Good find! I sense a boosted LS2 sitting in that yard! Sweetness!
  18. well another difference is that carb heads hold a different bolt pattern to the intake manifold. So you would have also had to change the heads in order to use your carb equipment. Sounds like it would have been a big pain anyway. I think your best bet would be to find an already built motor and snag one of them up. One went on thirdgen.org for 2K, 400hp TPI motor. Look around all the chevy forums, camaros, off roading, anything that is related to a v8 and you might find something, also try craigslist.
  19. and what are the chances of being able to get them in the states? That company is in Japan
  20. that car is pure sex! Its not done up too crazy like, it is perfect! I love the color, is that anthracite?
  21. that right there is probably worth every penny...
  22. well if you are going to be glassing anyway, why not just glass in the tach and speedo?
  23. I like the way you ended up going better, much better, stock interior?
  24. he said they are Foose wheels and they gotta be vintage...
