    I was thinking about it, and for putting any dash i think the most important measurement would be the distance between where the center column goes through and where the center column starts. it seems like everything else could be trimmed. length, height, width...

    My fuel rail orings are .450 in,so .020 less would be .430, the two reamers that come closest are .4375, and .4219 respectively. Would it be better to be a little tight or a little loose? The reason its been so long is beause my machinist made me an F'd up one, without using a reamer, and an extra hole that he plugged with an allen plug, and im finally getting around to getting the reamer for him to make a correct rail.

    Just a fyi. Extending the arm of a torque wrench like that changes the readings. The paperwork from my craftsman torque wrench told me.

    early headlight buckets are already fiberglass. not sure of the years. check out a junkyard.

    i talked to the MSA guys at the show about those buckets. they said IF they sold them, they'd be very very expensive.. like a grand..something rediculous. one of their employees specially built that pair for the car. what i dont understand about that car is why have on all those nice carbon pieces, and retain the ugly big 280z bumper...

    I'm running DIY coilovers, 225lb front, 250lbs rear springs with tokico illuminas. camber plates, adjustable tc-rods, and front arms... urethane... upgraded swaybar in the front. pretty standard upgrade stuff. i dont think it makes much of a difference if its a sr20 Z or not... but what do i know.. I'll have to fine tune it after i get it running, so my setup will change.
