Great..... I was hoping for some success stories with respect to overspray. I think I was actually foolin myself. Yes, the first plan was to roll it with all of the original suspension. Then remove, blast, bushings, springs, drive! Prob stick to it. Chelle...nice motor work!

Got motor (V8 289 all Edelbrock, new), new t-5 tranny, new MMS coilover kit. Have installed: 10 lbs of sheet metal in various places including most of the passenger side frame rail. Battery box area is next and last. Since I missed my paint shop slot, I am contimplating installing the coil over kit and suspension bushings and then to paint. Had wanted to paint then do suspension to avoid overspray but Im thinking that it's a paint shops job not to spray everything like tires and springs. Right? Regardless, its going forward as quick as possible. Cant wait to light em up.

Howdy! Good first week Boys! Yes this Friday the 19th is it! This is our last week to throw down! They are on the way!
-
Way to go guys! Thanks Mike for answering that question! So as you all can see the 19th is not very far off! Some of you guys may or may not have contributed to these outstanding competitors in the past, but as of now... you are all official contributive sponsers!! Mike is maintaining a list of the official contributors and is planning a special tribute of some sort for them. I will surrender the shirt order list to him before they compete so that no one is missed!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks to all that have ordered. And thanks to thoes that have ordered with out posting. Going well. Remember that not only do you get an original Datsun T, but you are also a special contributor to what will surely be a "must see" Datsun race!! If one can't order before the race is run, and time is quickly running out, we have ordered a good deal so there will hopefully be some left for thoes that cant order right away. Thanks again to thoes that are now....contributors!!

Thank you John! Thats awesome! Here is your shot Mario! Thanks for your interest! 2003Z, We only have larges left from our over run of team shirts. We have an order in that they are working on now. We can push them for the XLs first, or we can ship you a large. We really appreciate your interest! Thanks guys.
-
Thanks Gabe!! They will ship in three to five days! Go Z!!

Thanks for your response gents, and all that have ordered overnight! Fantastic response! We have a blanket order for 30% Med 70 % Large. Every X cost a buck more BUT any X or XX orders that I receive today, will be at no extra charge! We are placing a bulk order and feel that a few shirts in the pile will be no big deal. As for the white, we thought about that long and hard. Here's the deal. The printer has to use a different screen set up when they switch from the inks that they were using on them originally. What that means is we would need a doulble set of screens. What we are after is to offer the PINKS shirts as they were designed and we wanted them to look formidable. Thus black it was. The set up fees are considerable and switching color schemes deserves careful thought. If we see a large call for white or alternate colors however, it will be considered! Thanks to all!!

Howdy HybridZ! As you may or may not know, a group of our fellow members have taken on the challange, and the risk of building a first generation Z car for the sole purpose of challenging an unknown competitor pink slip for pink slip. They have received outstanding support and have done a stellar job even when faced with significant adversity. Their tenacity and sprit are a perfect match for the car they created and represent. Heres the deal. One of the sponsorships made available to these competitors were original design artwork Team HybridZ PINKS Crew Shirts to unite and enhance their presence. And to better honor and represent the HybridZ community in the way we all would prefer. There has been significant interest in the Crew Shirts and a remaining need for support. I have been authorized to offer these shirts to the community to commemorate their effort and to allow us golden opportunity to extend our help. Therefore: From now untill they race, the Crew shirts will be available to any one wanting to show their support. Two dollars and fifty cents from the proceeds of each and every shirt sold will go directly to the competitors to allow them to complete their challange. That allows you to not only promote and support their spirit.... But that of our beloved Z car on a nationally televised event as well. The bonus....you get the shirt!! Time is short, talk is cheap. Now is the time for us to step up and take advantage of this "win-win" opportunity. You win, they win, Z wins. SEE BELOW If you are interested, do not delay. They need your support today. PayPal Zshirt4u@aol.com and do not forget to include your shipping address and your screen name or personal e-mail. Price.....18.50 and shipping IS included!! Regardless of how many you buy!

Nice... That dam was designed for the crash bumper era. The only thing you need to do with the shock absorbers is to put them in their rightful place...the trash can! God I hate the crash bumpers. They were the FIRST part to come off my Z during the build.

Idea for front grill (more bad photoshop)...
Twoeightnine replied to utvolman99's topic in Body Kits & Paint
My thoughts exactly. I think the front lip of the hood was used in the photo shop. I would like to "borrow" the design as well. Good thoughts.
