  1. I'm not sure, I dont quite have the funds to just push the Buy Everything Button. So it might be a slow process but I do think it will start rolling pretty quick here soon. I have so many F-body parts from the Car I parted out that I plan on adapting alot of them over.
  2. Man, I wish I had the Patients to make my engine bay look like that.
  3. Validates My Story that I told a Few People at SEZ6 I had to test fit it to realize I need to buy the Mounts. ( This was my original Idea but somehow I thought I might be able to make them from scratch. I probably could If I really worked at it, but I'll focus my energy to other things.
  4. If you kept the Wheels does that mean you kept the flares? mmmm...
  5. Stock Computer You dont have to worry about buying any tuning software I can help you out with that. and you can't do that swap. Because you are stealing my project. I started first.
  6. Thats cool that you found a nice car that cheap. The F-body world is getting whored with used parts now everything seems to be dropping in price as far as parts go. Hope you do well. I did very well on my part out but I got my car ( although older) alot cheaper than yours. If you find the right buyer though maybe the car will pay for itself and even make you some profit for some swap parts. Mine Is
  7. Ive heard that Corvette Rear 02 sensors have really long leads. And can work as primarys for any ls1 car.
  8. I wouldnt Suggest it. It has the Auto and Cloth Interior and Base Wheels. Not going to pull much from those parts.
  9. My LS1 Found Me. My friend at work was talking about this guy he knew that had a wrecked trans-am and how he was going to pick it up this weekend. So I started talking to him about it and realized it was very lightly wrecked 6speed car ( Lady Driven - Explains why it was wrecked ) for cheap. And I begged and begged for him to let me have it. Well his girlfriend basically veto'd his idea and he decided he didnt have time to mess with it ( wouldnt leave enough time for fishing ). So he let me have it. And Luckly I was able to come up with the money in time for the car. Ive just started on my project but by the looks of it. This is the best way to do it. There are ALOT of parts on the F-Bodys that can be used on the Zs. My friend is helping me with the wiring and he is doing some cool stuff with the old Fbody FuseBox/Relays that should work out very well.
  10. If you part it out I need the Drivers Side Lock and Door Opening Linkage / Mechanism
  11. Yeah I just recently got my Miller Maxstar 200DX Wired into my new garage. I havent been able to weld in like 2 years, Its amazing how good of a feeling it is to get back at it!
  12. Pro Racer Package - Yes! Stock ECU - No! The 05+ Mustang ECU is sooo indepth it would be too difficult to swap into a project car, but I have seen some use the 05+ engine and step back a year with the computer and use a 04 or older computer. The depths/layers of Electronic Throttle Control and Returnless Fuel Stystem and Toruqe Managment and and and. Is too much to put into another car. You are correct though the new 3valve engine is working very well for being fairly small and still producing big numbers. One recently in Michigan just put down 700+ hp built bottom end and a big blower on it.
  13. Damn thats really unfortunate - The EEC-V system is sooo much better than the older EEC-IV. The sole ability to be able to datalog the newer system is a selling point to never even considering stepping backwards. Tell him if he wants to convert back I can help him out or its the company that I work for Actually. If he still has a OBD-II port I can set him up with a datalogg and a way to flash the vehicle with aftermarket files that can be setup to support upwards of 800whp
  14. That and many many many other things
  15. All the DOHC 4.6s are Aluminum Block Except for the 03+ Cobra Motor. Junkyard parts are not skimping you will just want to build the motor ( rods and pistons ) before making any serious horsepower. With stock 6 bolt mains and a stock crank these motors can make well over 1000whp before hurting anything engine related. A big step up from the old 5 liter stuff. As far as the computer goes if you do get an EEC-V swap 96 and newer. I can do the Computer Tuning for you remotely - Can email you files back and forth. And for it fitting - Not sure I was going to try it but I came a cross a crackhead deal on an LS1 so thats what I'm working with now. If it is a tight fit you could always tube the front end.. haha.
  16. You can get a 4V DOHC 4.6 out of the junkyard for less than 1k$ They come in all Lincoln MarkVIIIs 92-93 and up Getting and OBDII version would be best or you would need an EEC-V Harness from another vehicles 96+ Cobra possibly.
  17. If you do use a Modular Engine be sure to use a DOHC Cam Engine don't bother with a SOHC. The good thing about the DOHCs are that the heads flow very well from the factory and you will not have to worry about any porting or aftermarket valvetrain as they are all designed to take 7k rpms from the factory. Everyone says 351/302 windors this windsor that. But if u want a street friendly engine a nice DOHC 4.6/5.4 with a Stock block ( aftermarket rods/pistons ) , Stock Heads and Stock Computer and the world is the limit. A large turbo or Nice Blower and you could have a very high hp street friendly car. My vote is modular
  18. Nope not Norwood I dont think they'll mind me telling - Its Dallas Mustang theyve done about 6 or 8 of them there. With just a computer Tune these things are putting down 565-580hp to the wheels. Stock as can be.
