  1. It sucks hes only gonna have a few moments of enjoyment before his friends have to come put a new wankel in it.
  2. What did Jesse say? He should be able to give a little insight.
  3. 289 Engine ? An old ford pushrod engine? or a 281? 4.6 Modular
  4. Thats pretty cool you got it to fit in there. That intake design will deffinetly be holding you back. But thats a simple fix. Nice Work - Got to love how cheap those old lincoln engines are now. Is that an aluminum block? I thought the old mark VIII engines were Iron Block
  5. You can believe me or not. But I have talked to Christian (The Owner/President of Koeniggseg) on the Phone before and he told me that the engine is just aftermarket ford parts. Take it as you will, he also explained to me how his dual centrifugal superchargers worked and all I can say is it is Badass.
  6. Still based on a Ford Engine. Its probably just aftermarket block and CNC ported heads. Also still uses all the Ford Electronics. VT Engines in Lansing, MI builds the engines for them. ( Great Modular Mustang Engine Builder )
  7. Reply with the Year? Its more than just the milage. 3k for Engine only seems high to me.
  8. Depends on the Year - 02-04 Pull the Most While 98s dont pull as much. Everything will be atleast 2500 though
  9. I got mine out all by myself. Just Unbolt the Tranny Crossmember and the Front Kmember and Struts. And a few extra things and its ready to drop. I had the front of the car on jackstands and a jack under the Kmember and a Jack under the Trans. Lowered the front down enough for the wheels to touch the ground. Then Raised the body some more with a floor jack. Then Rolled the engine right out of there.
  10. That just looks funny on a DynoDynamics Dyno haha. Is this in Austrailia? 106 or 108mm Is kind of the biggest turbos they have on the V8 Race Cars now. The new biggest thing is Two Huge 88mm or 91mm Turbos.
  11. It says forbidden. Can you email the File Dale?
  12. On the Z - I would have to Vote Turbo RB30 and No G-Nose. I learned that when first starting a shop. It is best to not try to build a shop car. Its best to focus all your work on customer's cars and use thier vehicles to show off your work and skillz.
  13. What is this CD you speak of? I need some motivation in my Project the Summer Heat has brought it to a Stand-Still.
  14. Sucks you only got 250 for the Brakes. Ive seen the Rear with Backing Plates go for 200+ alone. and close to 150 or 200 with Spindles for the Front. I still have my Fronts Might keep them around to see if I can get them to work on the Datsun
  15. Sherwin Williams has an Automotive Division. That makes decent Auto Paint.
  16. Best Wratchet I have ever owned. Of course I dont own one anymore and now I have a knock off version of the same thing without the soft handle ( plastic handle ) I think I paid 80$ for mine back in the day. Few Years Back, lost it in a bad business transaction. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=67464&group_ID=228&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog I got my new one for 30$ I think, now that I dont make a living with tools everyday its not as big of a problem.
  17. Are they going to have to operate? On my back Sleeping / Laying Down for a long time would make it hurt more. And they would always schedule the PT in the morning, when through out the day my back would get better and be more flexable. The PT never went good. The table where they stetch you out with you all strapped up at all four corners. It always made it worse. Good Luck with you and I would consider surgery as long as they arent fusing anything and they are just carving the disk away from the nerves.
  18. The Shop that that Last Cosworth Engine is in. Ive been to that guys shop a few years ago. I talked to them about building my old DSM engine. Soon as I walked in the door, I knew I was in the wrong spot. Nothing but older 4 cam Historic Race Engines.
  19. Thank him for helping you buy a good wratchet? Is it a Swivel Head Wratchet with the Comfort Handle? Those are Soo Sweet From Snap-On. When you make a living with your tools the best pays off in the end.
  20. Yeah it was deffinetly Florida Tags - Said Like Wolf Z as the Plate. I'll dig up more pics. My Co-worker said he took alot of pics for me. What a nice guy, haha. The LS7 Solstice was cool but some of the cars in the year one booth were just crazy. I loved the Older Cars with modern engines. Cuda with a 6.1 Hemi in it. Two 69 Mustangs with 03 Cobra Engines 67 Mustang with 03 Cobra Engines. Countless Camaros and Such with LSx Engines One of the Best Ones was the 55 Ford Truck Slammed on the Ground with Huge Wheels and a Turbo LS1 in it. Very Impressive.
  21. It was spotted at the First Leg of the PowerTour. it had a Procharged Carb'd SBC. Very Very Nice Car - Florida Tags
  22. Saw it at the First Stop of the HotRod Power Tour. Very Nice car - Very Nice Fit. It seemed everything had an LSx Engine in it. Specially in the GM Booth.
  23. Can we see pictures of that? 18x9.5s on all 4 Corners. I was looking towards some aftermarket 350z wheels. That were 18x9 and 18x10s I think with Coilover and some adapters I could get them to fit.
  24. actually the 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 Manifolds are all the same. But I did get some for a 03 Silverado SS though. The only problem I see ( If the motor was sitting almost in the right spot ) was the flange hitting the framerail. I'll just have to grind/mill off the flange and weld a piping extension to it. Was considering doing that anyway so that I could use V-band Clamps for the Y-Pipe. I'll be going Single Ive got 3 manifold sets here. 98 stock f-body manifolds - 05 GTO 6.0 Manifolds - and 6.0 Truck Manifolds. I'll get one of them to work and let you guys know.
