  1. You might need to add spacers. I have 15x7 wheels and there is barely enough room to fit my pinky between the spring perch and rim.
  2. I once replaced my steering rack bushings with urethane ones, a small amount of play will exist regardless of new components, thats just how it is.
  3. Well obviously remove the head. Put new HG on and torque to specs stepping up from 20 ft lbs all the way to spec. As far as easy out, some people have used it with success, try doing that. if it doesnt work take it to a machine shop who will help you.
  4. 2mm MLS cosmetic hg installed with ARP head studs. Upgraded to spark control as well, engine runs great and feels great. Too bad Im still smoking from my valve cover a lot, oil is still seeping through valve cover gasket and my vent from the valve cover. And there is a little oil in my intake pipe..
  5. Same thing happened to me, was my driveshaft bolts. I bet you it is in your case too.
  6. As far as I know, there isn't an NA or a turbo one. Its just a gasket. With that said, yes some of my passages were blocked off on my p90. The gasket was exactly the same as a fel pro as far as passages being blocked off.
  7. Yeah that was him. You need more stuff let me know, ill let it go for basically free. Lawl, rear wheel drive light Z's dont do well in the snow, I know
  8. Same here. They suck at customer service though. When I ordered my HG, it was on backorder and they never let me know, I had to call them a week later wondering where my HG was.
  9. I pulled with front wheels on the ground. I've heard the same but ive also heard its not a big deal if you are going a short distance, as I was going over 1200 miles I played it safe.
  10. Yeah, me and my dad show up to the cowtown ones usually (Rod and Scott) but its a bit of a drive for us.
  11. Tsk tsk. So I figured out the rattle on decel in my rearend was loose driveshaft bolts, like, really loose. On top of that, a rattle in the front drivers side turned out to be a loose bolt that goes from the hub to the control arm. I suck, its a wonder im still alive. Good news is that my 2mm cosmetic MLS and ARP head studs are in. My dad is redoing my fan wiring, and will also wire up my HEI module for spark control. It should be done this saturday and running again. Can't wait.
  12. Just a car dolly, two wheels on the road. It seriously pulled that thing just fine.
  13. Nice, so far I've found a couple people "interested" Man, its been REALLY nice out the past few days, even raining. Hows jersey?
  14. I used a 2WD Xterra to pull my Z all the way from north dakota to texas, no problem.
  15. Do you know any other Z owners in the area? By the way, come pick up that front valance. For free.
  16. You are half right, half wrong. You can't control the coil directly in megasquirt 1. So, yeah, same goes to you. Don't say stuff without an explanation.
  17. The C shaped brackets that go between the motor mount and the motor mount bracket, I need two of em!
  18. I don't know man, when it was in there it didn't even seem close. These are 6-1 headers, and were all over my power steering rack.
  19. I seriously think there should be a thread of "Lessons Learned" on this site. For example, I learned that headers from a s30 won't fit in a s130. Caused me a lot of trouble.
  20. My metal head gasket should be here something during the week. Heres a picture of my putting a l28 in a 280zx. Headers ended up not fitting so it took me a long time to really figure that out and swap out manifolds.
  21. Bump for progress. What wheels are on your 280zx btw? Those fit very nice.
