  1. I have a turbo oil pan if you still need it.
  2. Nah. Thats too much too ask in my opinion for a stock setup. I think 1500 would be fair if everything has low miles on it / previously rebuilt not too long ago.
  3. Check your afterstart enrichment.
  4. Oh. In that case a 70-72 version.
  5. I need one.. If you are in the DFW area let me know I can come pick it up ASAP
  6. I believe I have one sitting on my desk at my dads house, let me check tonight for you.
  7. I figured as much, just double checking, thanks a lot guys!
  8. So I did my engine swap over to my 240z this weekend, and used the same driveshaft I had in before, but when installing it into my 240z, I noticed my differentials mounting flange was circular, and my driveshafts flange is square! All the bolts lined up and everything fit right, but is this going to be an issue? My thinking is that it wouldn't, however I am always sweating the details. I've seen both r200s with a circular shape and square shape.
  9. Got the engine set in the new car, mostly everythings hooked up, gotta rewire megasquirt however (at least some of it).. Also missing a motor mount wing.. and the insulator for the transmission. Hoping my dad finds one in our parts car at the shop. Also I might have to go to the exhaust shop and have them bend my exhaust a little bit to fit the new hole and get new hangars, not sure. Still have to wire up the fuel pump.. The car also looks awesome with its new suspension, sits a good bit lower, very aggressive looking.. the new rims will look sick on it. If anyone reading this happens to have either part, I will either buy it.. or trade for it.. etc. (Thats the motor mount "wing" or C shaped thing, and the rubber insulator that goes in the center of the tranny mount).
  10. Thanks for the input, im ordering my 225/50/15 kumho's today.
  11. Man its hot and sunny out. Yesterday fixed my front brake lines and bled them. Today I knocked out the rear suspension, tokico HP struts and the red lowering springs. It was actually very easy to do, just dropped right out after disconnecting a few things here and there. Tonight I have to pull the engine from my 280z to put in my 240z, as someone is coming to buy the 280z rolling shell. Things to do: Put in l28et Get car insured, title transfered and registered Put my tires on the new rims (15x7 Rewinds) Any suggestions on tire size? I'm afraid 205s will be too small.. so I'm thinking of 225s.
  12. So sad to see a thread about a legitimate topic about someone needing some advice turn into a pissing match. Very disappointing.
  13. To answer the op: i think if your stock efi is in good working condition, stick with it. Much more hassle free than carbs. However if you want to go carbs, consider some z therapy su carbs or a arizona z car four barrel carb set up.
  14. My inbox is also a better place for your response than you ruining a good thread.
  15. Oh. And your l28 (unless its a stroker or turbo) does NOT make 278 to the wheels. Remember we are talking about stock. BONE STOCK. The BONE STOCK efi is worthless for anything but BONE STOCK. So go ahead and spend the next 30 minutes formulating a response laden in non-sequiturs.
  16. Ah, a wonderful tony d rant where you just start saying random things . Keep it up man, entertaining.
  17. I'd like to know this as well, it looks like his back wheels just barely fit.
  18. I did indeed go with the 15's. I plan on running 225/50s on them on my 240z with a one inch drop, which I think will feel the wheel well nicely. They actually arrived today and just look so nice, I can't wait to see them on the car!
  19. Lolol thats awesome. Lets race sucka
  20. I found a guy to buy it off me for what I paid.. The only downside now is I have to wait another week and a half lol.
  21. Im such an idiot.. I accidentally ordered the wrong air dam.
