  1. Nice CRX, I always like those. I once did a nice sound system for a guy in one. Thought it was a cool car while I got to drive it around.
  2. I've got set on my ZX and they seem to be holding up fine. I've never taken them apart to inspect them but, I have no issues that I know of from them. They proubly have 40,000 plus miles on them.
  3. Thats cool I hope to do some traveling when my time comes to quit being a slave to the customer.
  4. I believe it's 2". It's been awhile since I've had a 280 ZX that was N/A.
  5. I guess I'm still a kid at heart I woke up at 420 and waited till five to wake my kids 10 & 7. What fun for them to come and see the wonders of Christmas morning.
  6. Hey, Merry Christmas to everyone. Big thanks for everyones help and the friendships that have grown through out the years. Hope everyone is doing well.
  7. There you go. Great powerful package ready to go.
  8. You need to do a search in the turbo/supercharger section and you should find some results. James T. AKA 240twinturbo has been posting and showing off his amazing twin turbo car for several years and has shared his success and few failures while fabricating the system himself. Truely an amazing car.
  9. If your looking to up the octane for less money then mix in some tolune (sp). It can be found at Lowes or Home Depot by the gallon. It's 114 octane by itself and is the main ingrediant in many of the over the counter octane boosters. I've run it in about 30% mixture and it works wonders on my turbo car. Lets me go from running 16 or 17 psi to over 20 psi.
  10. Is it possibly running to rich at idle causing the low RPM miss? Also wheres the alternator?
  11. I didn't look at the date on the post but, I thought hummm seems like I've read this before.
  12. if I had to guess I'd say 3/16 should work until you can get around or something.
  13. I'll add my configuation just for grins. Mine runs from the fitting coming out of the block before going into the heater core which I tapped for a 1/4" fitting. This goes into the turbo and out to the thermostat housing. If I had to do it again I think I would pull the fluid from the plug in the block and then in the thermostat housing after the turbo. I think that would make for a cleaner install.
  14. Regular vacuum hose should work as long as it doesn't touch any hot parts.
  15. Hate, to say it but, I think that might be right. You might try to pull the intercooler stuff off and see what your pressure drop is.
  16. Sounds like that may be it to me also. What does the tach do while this is happening. Any backfiring or anything like that?
  17. Heres some information I found in a book I have. Supercharging, Turbocharging, & Nitrous Oxide by Earl Davis and Diane Perkins-Davis pg. 116 Under the "Consider the following" on the page sideline. "Each 25* reduction in charge air temperature reduces octane demand by 1 point." There are also several other octane related points to ponder in the section aswell. If my stupid scanner was working right I'd just scan the page and post it.
  18. The two stock systems I've run both were at 7 psi with an aftermarket gauge. Does yours run 4 psi?
  19. What did you do about engine management?
  20. I thought the same thing. This setup might be slightly lighter and looks like it definatley has some adjustablitity.
  21. Heres an item I found on ebay. I don't know the seller but, thought this was neat. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7940829502&category=33625
  22. First off Glad your ok!! It's amazing how flamable that stuff is. I use it to clean off parts before welding and occasionally it builds up somewhere and ofcourse a spark will find it no matter how far away it is. Kinda scary and make a crazy colored flame.
