  1. Apartment living sucks!!!!!!!!!!! So whats the complaint? And how many have you placed?
  2. This link should be the right thing for the S130's also. Thanks for the info. I wasn't aware of the issue with the pipe plugs. I work for an autoparts store so I should be able to find some. Not only that I can take it in and show my guys another cool part for the Z.
  3. I called to see if my part was in and they said it would be another two weeks atleast. I asked them to verify that they were ordering the right part and it turned out they did but, charged me for the cheaper part. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
  4. Take a look in the gallery and you should find some pics of the setups that are out there. If you click on the link in my signature you can see what I've done. Edit: look on this page http://www.angelfire.com/space/nismo1turbo/indexengineinstall.html
  5. I don't need one but, I think you have a good idea on your hands. I would have bought one from you back when I was looking a different ecus and such.
  6. That motor would really make for a nice hybrid!!
  7. Hey Jon, is there anyway we can see the pics from post #12?
  8. So I bought a 87 R-200 w/ LSD from a guy on zcar.com a couple of years ago and got a great price for it. The only thing was that it didn't have the finned Diff. cover like I wanted it to. So now I've pull all the rear end componets off the car. Before I put everything back together want to replace the cover with the Nismo unit. I talked to Courtsey Nissan and they sold me http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=38351-P9010&Category_Code=s30_nismo_diffoilcooler But, if you look at this discription it sounds like what I really want. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=38351-P9010K Looking at the part numbers then the only difference is the K at the end of the number. I called them and asked about the differnce and the only thing I really got from them was a wait and see attitude. Anyone know the differnce? The price differnce is no big deal I just want the right part.
  9. I agree with the above statement and want to add that you may need a new rear diff. mount.
  10. So what size are the rotors on this conversion? Those look like the 280ZX calipers. Are they or are they the 240 SX calipers?
  11. I have 1 3" intake and two 2" intercooler pipes on mine. I think Lockjaw who used to be a member on here had 2.5" and the intake all going through the one side.
  12. What fuel system are you planning to use? Better be good one!!!!
  13. Thats what I had to do to run both the intercooler pipes and the intake thru the same side.
  14. I personally have had good luck with my T-5's except when tring to bang gears without letting off the gas. Needless to say it didn't take much of that for long. I think the proublems most guys are having in not breaking the gears or anything but, tearing up synchros. These trannies just are not ment to be speed shifted by owners in cars that are making double the orginal HP. If you want to run the T-5 then get a good shifter and adjust the stops accordingly.
  15. I did some reasearch on this about a year ago and all T-5's use ATF. Dexron Mercon III. Even after I had mine rebuilt last year the place made sure that I knew that the T-5's used ATF and not gear oil.
  16. It's the T-5. Right? If so then it's supposed to run ATF. I've run both Mobil 1 ATF and Redline with good results. With the ATF in you'll see that the car will shift even when cold.
  17. If you don't want to go crazy then just build a strong stock bottom end. Good machine work and quaility parts will go along way. You might think about some forged pistons and forgo the coatings and fancy stuff for now. I was told you can get a set of Ross forged pistons for about 600.00. If the budjet is is there then you might think about some ARP studs.
  18. Ok so back to the orginal post.. I had good results using the NGK bpr7es plugs gapped and .025. I could run about 1 extra psi 15 to 16 and with some more fuel 17 to 18. Also I've used the Seafoam stuff before and had results with it also. Would recommed it to someone who wanted to clean out a dirty motor.
