  1. Hey these kits are mounted on the out board side right? Just want to make sure before I start cutting. http://www.specprod.com/PROD_DIR/PROD_PASSCAR.HTML
  2. Ok so I feel like I'm part of some kind of club now. I just finished the first one. What I did was to go to the JY and get the screw part out of a maxima caliper and then do some grinding, drilling, and welding a nut on the top so I could screw it down and have plenty of room to get the ground down snaping pliers in there to to the ring on. Worked great!!!
  3. Your certainly on the right track with getting the tubo upgraded as it's rebuilt. Do a search and you should find some info about where to have the turbo rebuilt.
  4. Another great feature of Hybrid Z. Thanks
  5. That was sweet. Wonder how long those headers last?
  6. I love you man!!!!!!!!!! Great ideas! I made a "tool" to compress the spring but, the c-clamp and all got in the way. I tried about 3 different sets of snap ring pliers and none of them could get down in there with the clamp and all in the way. I even tried a old set of needle nose ground down to fit in the little holes. Now, I think I'll be able to get this done. Your gonna save me 150.00 bucks. Thanks. Hybrid Z members Rock It's gonna be Sunday before I can mess with it all again but, I'll let ya know how it went.
  7. Ok so I finally got the Diff cover but, not the kit that is supposed to go with it. I pulled the studs out of one of my old covers and will reuse the filler and drain plugs. Anyone know what size the other three holes are in it? I was thinking 3/8" but, wanted to see if anyone knows for sure so I don't have to drag this thing in some where to match up the plugs.
  8. Just wondering if anyone has any hints for me on rebuilding these calipers. I have the rebuild kit and all came apart and cleaned up great it's just getting the emergency brake spring and snap ring inplace that is just kicking my rear . I have some rebuilt calipers on order but, if I can rebuild my orginal ones then I could save a bunch of money that I want to put towards a better welder. Any hints or ideas would be great.
  9. Thats about twice as big as mine. I have the HKS intercooler that was degigned for the car and it's not very big. If I remember correctly 10x10x2.25 but, don't quote me on that. It's been awhile since I measured it.
  10. I had a similar system before the one that I have now. Biggest thing I noticed was the quicker spool up time. As you know quicker spool up equals more torque and more fun.
  11. Sounds possible. Seems like you would lose alot of boost that way.
  12. You'll be happy with this mod. Makes for great sound and performance
  13. I've got ES100 on front and the AVS sports on back. I like both tires. The ES100 is a good performing. The AVS sports perform better but, ofcourse wear faster.
  14. looks good Move to Texas! Lots of time to work on the car.
  15. The PCV system is your engines friend.
  16. Thats cool. Looks like you've certainly spent some time on fabrication.
  17. Well I've also had them both side by side also and I can tell you that the Sparcos were made of higher quailty material and looked to be overall better contructed. Not tyring to bad mouth my seats but, the thruth is what it is.
  18. I have a set of Corbeaus and they are a desent set of seats but, the Sparcos are much higher quality. If the money is there then go with the Sparcos.
  19. A moron that used to work for me that drives a Neon. He's 21 or 22 and thinks it's so fast. Drives like it's stolen every time he starts it. Leaves in atleast 1 to 2 gears lower than what it's supposed to be so he can have any power and make some noise. I think my clapped out 87 Prelude could beat it! What is it about most neon drivers. So how good is the gas mileage anyway. I know where to steal one if gas prices get much worse.
  20. Sounds good Bill. Can't wait to see it all when done.
