    Been here for a while, lurking about as shown by my post count. But, anyway I have a silver '79. It dominated my garage for the last 4 years. Mainly because can't decide what direction I want take the build. Pics of its current state will follow soon.

    I've got a tranny from my '79 280ZX I don't intend to use anymore. It's just sitting in the garage. I'm located in West Chester, OH.

    There was a guy on here that said he swapped a VK56 into his 280ZX. Never posted any pics. I sent him a pm about it because the the VK56 is one of my engine swap choices. I'll see if I still have his reply, been awhile. EDIT: It was Oleh, but rereading the pm's, he was in the process of doing the swap. Again, don't know if he ever finished.

    I do believe someone else attempeted to do a VK56 swap into a Z32, on here. He posted a couple of pics, but I don't know what ever happened to the project.

    I think that is Greg Dupree's Z. From the little I can remember, it was built at his shop and supposedly has close to 700hp.

    The VK56DE is one helluva an engine. I love mine in my Titan. I've surprised people on how I can make it move. Now if only the engine wasn't expensive...mmmm, engine swap...

    Those are good little cars. I've had two, and still own one. My dad tried to blow it up the other day on the highway. Didn't work, tough little beast.

    I live in West Chester, about 30+ min. away. dapiper is one of my nieghbors too, he just doesn't post much. Niether do I really. My Z is down, because I don't have time to work on it and dapiper is currently replacing his headgasket.

    Wasn't the 280ZX in the impound? And I thought CelicaFantic was going to buy it from you?

    I have a '79 280ZX. Hasn't done nothing but sit in my garage for the past 3 years. Reason being, I haven't come up with a plan of what to do with it.

    That is good advice. If I had a way to upload dvds, I would upload the Drift Bible because I own a copy. If not, I think someone uploaded it on google video.

    Why are you running smaller tires in the back? Most of the drift cars that I've seen run wider in the back, then agian they have gobs of power to turn'em. mopar69: It depends on driver preference. If seen spec sheets on peoples setups. It ranged from expensive coilovers with all the bells and whistles, to basic springs and shocks.

    If you can, go to South Padre Island. Have fun in Corpus. (I was born in Corpus, still have family there).

    I've thought about doing the swap, but can't due to a list things in the way. But, I do have a Titan as a daily driver. And those look great, would they be able to fit in the Titan itself?
