  1. I paid $90 for a full set of pads. StopTech Posi-quiets, pretty good pads so far.
  2. Agreed. I love my STI as much as my Z. Apparently the VF series of turbos are like legos as well.
  3. I take it this an S30 undergoing the swap?
  4. The only real difference on the '04 STI is the bolt pattern, they are 5x100. I can't really comment on whether or not STI's would be a good donor car, but I do wish to comment on the expensive brake pads. I have the StopTech Posiquiets on my STI that cost $90 total for front & rear. So far they are actually good for street, and spirited driving.
  5. I have a set of aftermarket fender braces on my STI. I did notice an improvement in steering response, but I also have poly steering rack bushings. I haven't noticed any change in ride quality though. I've let a few other WRX & STI owners drive mine, and they all noticed a difference from their own cars. They are good stuff, and probably would make an improvment on a S30. Then again, I'm not an engineer.
  6. I'm afraid to click "play".
  7. So, uh, is anyone gonna make a sticky, or a how to for this? Love the car tec, was looking at your cardomain the other day.
  8. I've talked to the guy who own that 240Z. The only details I remember was it had an l28et, and the suspension a custom short strock setup. He wouldn't go into details about it. I believe he posts on the ohiodrifting forums, and he's got posts on here as well from when he was building it. Last I heard, the Z was retired from drift duty.
  9. I wish you luck on the swap. Hopefully, you will be the first to finish a Vk56 swap into an older Z.
  10. All the '07 were flex fuel. I asked the dealer when I bought my '07 Titan. Didn't know what the flex fuel meant at the time.
  11. Any new ideas? I've noticed some people are starting to convert thier S30's to, I'm assuming, a complete S13 setup. I know of only one such swap on an S130 done in Japan, but I don't read Japanese which makes his site gibberish for me. But, I've been thinking of doing this to my ZX. Could this swap hold merit on the S130's?
  12. He posted that on Nasioc. Let's just say the responses were less than encouraging.
  13. Just how far outside Springfield? I ask because I live 10 minutes from there, so I could possibly check it out for you.
  14. My Titan is fun to me as is. I'd probably scare myself driving a boosted one.
  15. ^ I was just thinking the same thing. If a decent one can be made, I would get it for the airflow.
  16. I'm not one to remember directions, plus my dad is the one who knows how to get there. But, we're both "landmark" people, meaning we don't like to read signs. I'll try to get the address for a mapquest search.
  17. Subscribed. This thread has good timing since I want to redo the suspension on my ZX over the winter. Read that E30 link. To be honest, I'm not mathmatically inclined and I kinda got lost. So please forgive me in advance if/when I ask a "stupid" quiestion.
  18. Turbo is missing, fuel rail is bent, and the fan looks like it was ripped off. Looks like it was crudely removed for the car. That's all I've got for now. I have pics somewhere, but gotta find 'em.
  19. I know it's not a full car, but there's a jy in Batavia that has an L28ET sitting at the front of the yard. I think it's called Schnieders, or Schotters. Something like that.
